What is your major and minor if you are going for one in college? I'm majoring in general administration and I'm thinking about minoring in some area involving computers or something where I could work in the front office of a sports team.

That's what makes it a good joke ;)
After Spring semester 2011, I'll need to have a major already picked. Because as it stands right now i have 18 credits to complete until I take my high level business classes and in the srping I'm taking 13 credit hours. What would be a good minor for a general administartion major?

It's Ursa Major ... dumb joke, but chuckle worthy.
My major is communicative disorders. I haven't picked a minor yet. I was thinking about psychology, but that's quite a lot of reading in store...

Yes, I am sure a major in communicative disorders (... is that real? what the hell is that?) will involve light reading by the sound of it ... :|

Yeah it's real. I want to be a speech pathologist mainly helping people, primarily children with speech disorders and it probably will have less reading than psychology since that topic has been around a lot longer.my school wouldn't allow this since they were so close together :(I'm majoring in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Engineering.

Conflict of interest? We dont have majors and minors here.
My degree is in Greek Philology and from year two we choose a "specialisation". My specialisation is Linguistics, which usually revolves around the Greek language but has general linguistic lessons as well (ex: Semantics, Pragmatics, Language Acquisition etc).

That MIS do well for you? Have always been curious to what doors it opened.
To be honest, it's probably one of the best choices I've made. I really don't use much of my engineering degree in my day to day activities, but the MIS has given me plenty of tools to use, especially when doing consulting. It was well worth the 3 years to get it.[QUOTE="Zyrokin"][QUOTE="cell_dweller"]Degrees: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Masters in Information Systemscell_dweller

Major: English
Minor: technically right now it's Creative Writing, but I'm switching out because I hate it.
Why not both?! ;)Interesting and good to know. Definitely was one thing I was looking at. Or just a straight MBA. Both sound like fun to me actually.
