Metallica or Aerosmith?

My pick goes to Metallica. Sure, more people know Aerosmith, but Metallica is, in my opinion, the greatest metal band of all time, and saying that Aerosmith is the greatest rock band of all time is insane.

So, who does your pick go to on who is the better band?

On a more serious note I really like both bands. they are both past their prime but each was really strong at one point. I would actually argue that Aerosmith has more albums worth listening to but that's because they aren't lazy and released them unlike Metallica that waits every 5 years to get together and have a group therapy before they start recording.

Its a joke that some guy came up with on yesterday's thread,he thought the band's name was Batbord, I guess he thought thats how the letters were spelled.

Can't really say I like either. Metallica has a few songs I don't mind but overall they leave me cold. Aerosmith overstayed their welcome by decades. And to make things worse Guitar Hero has a game for both. Which proves that while music games can be fun....the song selections are weak. Neither gets my vote.

Anyways I would say that any true Metalhead will vote for Death. I dont care for Death, but I'll vote for them anyways since they played a major role in Metal and their music is pretty good.
