i'm obsessed with watching those crash compilations.[QUOTE="Riverwolf007"]
[QUOTE="Ace6301"]I'd like to thank all the Russian insurance scam artists for these beautiful dash cam shots.JML897
i'm always trying to get information from them that will help me stay out of crashes lol.
99% of those crashes caught on those dashcams are avoidable.
i bet tons of video was caught from all those cameras.
Those crash compilations are crazy. I don't know if Russians are just crazy drivers or if they're just more likely to capture crazy sh*t due to the dashcams but damn
from the zillion i have watched i would say the roads are in crap condition, cops are not stringent on enforcing road rules, the big trucks have zero safety standards or inspections, people drive way too fast for conditions and they just cannot for some reason share the roads with each other. nobody wants to give a lane to another person for any reason.also there is a shytload of insurance fraud.
it is always possible that it just looks so terrible because everyone has those cams but i don't think that's a big part of it.
i have driven alot and have never seen behavior like that.
It got me too. My Speakers were turned up from earlier in the dayPretty interesting, but that's the last time I click on a Youtube link with headphones on.

is it the same asteroid that was meant to skim past the earth today? i heard that its about the size of londonquidy123That one is 45 meters big as far as i know. And no it wasn't, this was another meteor, unrelated to that one.
Given that about 400 people were injured when fragments fell to Earth, there's probably plenty of evidence that this was a meteorite. That one idiot commie guy who wants to go back to the cold war days said it was an new American military weapon test lol. Nutjob.

According to this, it was actually a much larger meteor that was shot by an emergency missile and broken up into smaller pieces.
-Renegade
from my understanding this is not even possible. meteors travel on earth at 120,000 mph. the fastest missles we have travel at 15,000 mph.
Well you'd calculate the astroids trajectory and have the missle intercept it. You wouldn't have the missile chase from behind it as that makes no sense

No, if that hit it would be another Tunguska event (which was also in Russiaa). The Tunguska event flaten around 760 Sq Miles of forest.
That's some pretty scary stuff. Hopefully there aren't any deaths. I would be really scared if that happened here in my state. But for some odd reason, those videos reminded me of the movie called Cloverfield. flowersjfMan just imagine it if that happened in front of you. I mean, if I'd see that crap, I'd think that nuclear war has started and that what im seeing is a missile. Man my country doesnt have missiles, if that thing would have hit here, it would have hit us harder.

And my first thought would be "I don't want to die a virgin!!!". Seriously!!!
It isn't that asteroid that was suppose to pass. This is different. This was a pretty bad call...
Oh and it says it was the size of an Olympic swimming pool. After it was shot down it must have impacted much smaller. Probably wouldnt have killed humanity, but still....

[QUOTE="sune_Gem"]same here.If I seen this news on December 21st, no lie, I'd be getting scared.

When that Harold Camping bloke said volcanoes would erupt all across the world and kill everyone back in 2011, then one conveniently went off at the time he predicted. I remember I swallowed my gut for an hour or so there.

dont get comfortable yet.there are plenty end of the worlds coming...lawl.Nah, after 2012 came and went (the big one) I don't think I'm going to pay no attention to the others.
My mind was at a 20% likelyhood that it may occur. Now I don't think there's ever going to be a 1% chance, unless noteworthy scientists say so.

What if the 21st of December was just the beginning of the end? Maybe the most decisive events tool place then (without us noticing) and now slowly the process is beginning. First the meteor in Russia, next the asteroid. Maybe we' re not safe yet...

Just food for thought for those that want to believe.
Yeah it's some freaky sh!t. For something that high up in the atmosphere to shatter windows with a shockwave must be pretty powerful stuff. If I was one of those drivers seeing that I would probably wet my pants. But the Russians are just like "Meh" lol
Might have something to do with the big Asteroid passing close tonight though
Thank GOD it wasn't equal to the Tunguska event. Who knows how many people that would have hurt, if not killed.
It just shows how lucky we got today, and it's frightening that an asteroid is passing by the Earth today at such a close proximity, although I'm pretty sure the events are unrelated.
Some of you fear war and human ignorance, I fear it'll be nature that destroys us.

Meteorites seem like a stoppable event. Just give us a few more years and we'll be pretty safe and secure form their threat.

100 meter ones, maybe.
Giant hulking monstrosities miles in width, I doubt it very highly.

I wouldn't be surprised if in 300 or so years we could just vaporize them into dust.
