Giant hulking monstrosities miles in width, I doubt it very highly.

I wouldn't be surprised if in 300 or so years we could just vaporize them into dust.

The best we could do is break them up into smaller chunks and lessen the damage and spread it out across the planet. I don't think we'll ever be able to simply destroy them with no casualties. They couldn't even predict this one to hit

Saw some footage of that.  Pretty insane.  Interesting that a lot of the people driving around had no clue or missed the gigantic smoke trail and fireball above them.

NASA says the airburst of the asteroid was a 300kt explosion.

Good thing it exploded at 30km+ up in the atmosphere and not a few km up over a city.
