While there may very well have been some illegal votes cast, I do not think it that many. An investigation should be conducted to really find out.

Estimate then? You're free to provide sources to these claims as well, especially since you think it warrants an investigation. If that is so, the evidence should be rightfully damning at face value and somewhat verifiable.

I will not even try to guesstimate how many did. We have already seen issues with voting in the Detroit area and was debated here on this forum. If there is an investigation, so be it.

So your position is that there is enough fraud to warrant an expensive and elaborate investigation, however you're unable to even give me an estimate or anything tangible to support the need for it?

In other news while Trump whined that fraud in elections happens by those registered to vote in two states...........it's found 4 individuals surrounding Trump are registered to vote in.........two states.

You can't make this stuff up....

This is so embarrassing.

Yup, there's a big student debt crisis that is keeping millions of people from participating in the economy fully, but we can't spend money on that because we have a big useless wall to build that I still suspect will get blown up by mexicans with nothing better to do for shits and giggles.

@Shmiity:

4 years from now or even 8, another president will come and would and easily could completely erase everything Trump has done and will do in his reign. Does this thought ever cross Trump's head? If the wall isn't even finished by the end of his term, the next POTUS could easily order it to be demolished.

I will take all this illegal immigration noise seriously the day people start telling their children to drop out of school and go pick strawberries for a living.

As for the wall, it's a waste of time, money, and manpower. If you are serious about stopping illegal immigration, then go after the farms, hotels, and construction companies that are more than happy to hire them. People will stop coming if there are no jobs waiting for them.

Going after companies employing illegals is probably apart of Trumps plan. I mean, why wouldn't it?

Because he's never stated that it is.

It's possible that he will, but he's given no indication that he would. I don't see it happening. Maybe small fines, but nothing too big. That would "hurt business" or something.

I maybe a bit naive but isn't the core of the problem the hiring of illegal immigrants? American citizens are the hiring illegal immigrants. American citizens are sustaining the problem. Whether the wall is up or down, if there are Americans that are willing to hire illegal immigrants the flow will continue.

It's sad to see our U.S is dying, it's even sadder that people voted Trump just to build a wall keeping out Mexicans just because they are living illegal and yet, we took over Native Americans lands centuries ago.

Yep. Not to mention the price of food would skyrocket. That's why this whole uproar is nonsense.

If you could find American citizens who are willing to stay working all of those shitty jobs in manufacturing companies for the rest of their lives then we wouldn't be in this mess.

It is fairly disconcerting, but still rather nice, to see an iota of dignity coming from a Mexican president. Chances are he'll backpedal in no time and we'll have to see him licking Trump's shoes, so, let's enjoy it while it lasts.

I acknowledge illegal people voting. I am under no illusion. If illegals vote in our elections, how does that make a wall feasible?

The wall will be paid through trade policies. That has been explained a million times I think. The purpose of the wall is to maintain our country's integrity and help with voter integrity. Why do you think the wall in unfeasible?

Libs are afraid of walls because then they won't be able to win elections. Same reason why they think voter ID laws are racist, even though we require an ID for nearly everything else in this country.

"We're working on a tax reform bill that will reduce our trade deficit, increase American exports and will generate revenue from Mexico that will pay for the wall, if we decide to go that route," Trump said.

His spokesman later said Trump was calling for a 20 percent tax on imports to pay for the southern wall.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/mexican-president-says-not-attend-170038112.html?ref=gs

so we (consumers) will end up paying for the wall by higher costs of goods sold to us manufactured in mexico.

thanks. i gotta pay more for oreos because trump is an idiot.

This is the only way for the Mexican Government to actually start caring for their people. For too long, they allow their own corruption ruin the country, which forced all their citizens to illegally enter the US. If Mexico actually repaired their economy and take action with the environment, maybe Trump wouldn't need to demand for the Great Wall of Trump

Im sorry but this is one of the most ridiculous and uneducated posts ive ever seen. The middle class in Mexico is a larger percentage of people than in America, and as a whole, are doing better than we are.

Mexico's corruption, is still corruption. Unlike our own corruption where it got so normal and regular, that we legalized it.

Most "illegals" are from southern Mexico and Central America, where there are many unstable countries (wtih no help from the USA who likes to barge in a **** up democratic elections), and immigration is at a net zero, agin, i feel like no matter how many times you repeat this fact people just dont get it. Whats really funny is if you really want to reduce immigration, you dont need to put up a wall. Just keep doing what Bush and Obama did and shift all of our money to the 1%. America is not some amazing country that people want to flock to. They wanted to come here because they had a chance at a decent paying job and to live in a repetitively free nation (38 on the freedom scale now i might add).that had a growing economy. You guys are almost 2 decades behind this being a real issue.

Have you ever been to Mexico? Its fine man, they have walmarts and targets and walgreens and shit. Its not some dusty third world country portrayed in old movies. They have fat people who live in white picket fence houses and watch tv all day. Are there a few cities that have bad cartel problems? Yah. Just like in America there are cities with bad gang problems and there are entire states with people running around with guns strapped to them and a first grade education.

Implementing a tariff would be a catostraphic decision to make and easily send both economies into a recession. Tread wisely Trump. But I believe Trump can't implement a tariff on his own (only in emergency's), it has to go through congress, who are against the idea. For good reasons.

Yeah I was a cook for a while, so I worked with a lot of illegals. They all come from the rural areas, most of them can't read. They all don't want to go home, but they usually have like two wives and about ten kids to support. I hate to generalize but I knew like 20 guys like that, so...

Anyway they hate it. They said they live in shacks, they farm but the soil is shit. Or they cook which is what they're doing in a kitchen in the US lol.

Not a criticism, by the way. I loved working with Hispanics. They knew how to have fun at work, while working. Some were crazy, some were mellow...they're people, I think we all forget that when we talk about a "type" of people, i.e. illegals.

Obama pursued policies that didn't work nor would I ever support. This isn't a democrat vs republican thing, it's called "common sense." Trump's wall won't work. Bush pursued the same concept and it wouldn't work. The same with Clinton and it still wouldn't work.

I really do hope you're trolling, because referring to the native Americans as the 'losers' is pretty messed up. We wiped out an entire indigenous population and it is probably the biggest bruise on US history, this side of slavery.

So, are you a troll or a psychopath?

I am in Mexico, cities are what you describe, first world modern cities but once you leave the cities you travel to another world, to the third world, Mexico becomes some shit country like Guatemala, el Salvador or those African and middle east countries like you see in the news, where do all those illegal workers come from ? from there, even at lousy 5 dollars an hour they are making more in a day than what they make here in a week, the countryside has lost it´s farmers, the have migrated to the cities or migrated to the US and do what Americans don´t want to do, work in the fields picking crops, digging trenches, changing asphalt shingles from house roofs in the middle of the day under the scorching heat and blazing sun.

It's sad to see our U.S is dying, it's even sadder that people voted Trump just to build a wall keeping out Mexicans just because they are living illegal and yet, we took over Native Americans lands centuries ago.

1. Those are not even remotely the same

2. It was a war and we won. America was incredibly gracious to the losers to allow them to stay on sections of land.

You dumbasses still dont realize this guy is trolling. smh...

Yes, the typical liberal reply

"This person's viewpoint does not match my own, he's a troll"

I really do hope you're trolling, because referring to the native Americans as the 'losers' is pretty messed up. We wiped out an entire indigenous population and it is probably the biggest bruise on US history, this side of slavery.

So, are you a troll or a psychopath?

You're kidding right?

It was a war, we had a war with them and they lost.

Like I said up there, we went above and beyond when it came to dealing with the people who did not win that war. Are there many wars where the victor told the loser "just go back owning and doing everything you did before this"?

It wasn't a war, the US didn't declare war on every separate tribe. They simply claimed manifest destiny and wiped everyone out in their path as they moved west.

You're a lunatic if you think it was a war, or in any way just. Bet you have the same attitude with all the black people that were chained and sold to US citizens, 'They got caught, might as well get over it, they lost!.

Absolutely sick.

You do know that the natives wiped out several colonist settlements completely during the 1600s right? Every man, woman and child was viciously slaughtered and their corpses mutilated. This was when they were in the vast majority and the Europeans nothing more than refugees from Europe with no proper way of defending themselves. It seems like they were unaware of what this would result in though.

Rural trailer park areas here are a lot better than living in a mud shack, also, people live in fear from the cartels that own highways! They don't get help from the government and sometimes have to fend for themselves or make a pact with them and have their children be force to be their mules or die for resisting them!

Oh please! Can you be anymore over-dramatic? What happened, happened. It was awful, sure, but it's history. And speak for yourself, "we" didn't do anything. Maybe YOU did or YOUR ancestors did, but not everyone living in North America, today, is directly accountable for what happened. Learn from it and move on.

Mexico will not end up paying us back, and Donald Trump will have spent tens of billions of taxpayer money on a project even the retiring chief of the border patrol is calling it a waste. There are so many reasons why this will fail, and all of them should be obvious to the people pushing for the wall.

Of course Mexico is going to pay for that wall, besides the tax already proposed there are many ways of taxing mexico and mexicans that will earn America 10 times what a wall cost back.

A simple thing would be to put tax on money sent back to mexico from the many illegal/legal mexicans or put a massive tax on american companies that has their production there.

The question tho is Will Trump have the balls to actually go through with it.

Are you aware of the fact that if Trump gets rid of all these illegal immigrants, prices of goods across the economy will skyrocket, which will hurt normal American families. Who cares if lower income families feel the squeeze? We got a sweet wall, soon to be full of holes.

If these dipshit wall proposals were anything but absurd, they would have been implemented long ago, and would not be a laughable talking point, like when Herman Cain proposed one. Simply saying they will pay us back is not a comprehensive plan to have it paid for.....

And I hate to break it to you, but Mexico's economy is not exactly the strongest in the world. I dont see how poor Mexicans in Mexico will foot the bill. The ideas you proposed in your post have not been proposed by Trump or his people.

Economists say his policies in this area will hurt the middle class........again. But do believe everything he tells you.

It's a pretty simple logical line. Create an economic condition in which cheap labor is needed. Do nothing about the source of this cheap labor, illegal immigration, for decades. Watch as prices fall.

Now we have a President who says he wants to do away with the means in which this cheap labor force enters the economy, and who gets to pay for the higher prices as a result? Of course, the middle class.

Why is a wall necessary?

I don't want the wall, and it's not because I'm for illegal immigration. These people need to be stopped. But this proposal is so economically and logistically inefficient and impractical compared to the money saved by not building it but instead used to reinforce currently existing measures while also adding new ones.

But Trump's wall aligns perfectly with his sensationalist and intolerant rhetoric to get people supporting him because it paints a very stark image of isolationism and nationalism. This wall is largely symbolic of him and his supporters' xenophobia, fear, and disgust of outsiders. As such, I doubt people who support the wall's construction have actually taken effort to even ponder its practicality or contrast its effectiveness against current defenses.

Trump and his followers just want another reason to chant their belief that America should seclude itself from the world and say "piss off" to everyone else.

What a waste of money. Enjoy paying for it guys!

Most countries have walls. Mexico, for example, has a wall. Why exactly is it economical for every other country on this planet to have protected borders but it's magically not for the US? Wall are very efficient. That's why your home is built with walls and a roof LOL.

And heads up - most of the wall is already built.

(By the way, Mexico's paying for the wall LOL)

Did I say that you personally, or your ancestors, personally did anything? I'm merely responding to someone who is non-nonchalantly responding to a near genocide with, 'Get over it, the lost' (on the day of the holocaust remembrance BTW). Quit straw-manning.

Like you said, learn from it. He clearly hasn't.

I'm well aware that they did. I'm not naive enough to believe that the native population was made up of only saints (in fact it was far from it). But thanks for bringing up something completely irrelevant.

Just acknowledge that something shitty happened with out bringing up the entire, 'well they did something bad too!', defense. It's what children who are scolded by their parents do.
