I think it's too early to say he has changed. I don't see many teams wanting to pick up Vick because of all the press and distraction it would cause. He's not a good quarterback and a decent running back. Hope he working on his passing skills.

He's not a bad player, but he's definately not the super star so many people believed him to be. Even when he first entered the league I never thought he was as good as everyone else made him sound.

Anyways, he shouldn't be suspended any games at all. He's all ready been punished by the U.S. Government.. the NFL punishing him on top of that is just petty. A game of corperate politics to make their sponsors feel better.

Comparing dog fighting to the meat industry is a pretty desparate, even sad attempt at defending Vick. The goal of the meat indistry is to feed people, the goal of dog fighting is gambling, and the glorification of forcing animals to fight each other to the death. The two are not comparable by any set moral standards. That's like comparing a sex offender to a pediatrician, cause they both touch kids. That said, I never really liked Vick as a player so I sould care less if he plays or not. I despise animal cruelty so I can never respect the man. I have heard mutiple team owners and coaches state they would never be interested in him for the bad press and degradation of their team's integrity. Vick has payed his dues for his crimes, at lest as much as a person of his stature would. So if a team wants him I don't really care, I won't be cheering for them.

He was never a good player anyway, and I don't see why any team would sign him. Maybe he can play backup? Vick had his chance on and off the field and blew it.limpbizkit818

huh? Before he left, he was finally balancing himself on the field, which would of made him more deadly.

if thats the case dont watch any sport..Vick did his time, like T.O said, other players have did worst and most likely wouldnt have gotten a 6 game suspension. But it doesnt matter, you'll watch anyway :lol:

He was one of the most exciting players in the league before he left. Obviously he wont be the same anymore. Maybe my Pats will pick him up. He will learn from Brady, get straightened out from Belichick and win a Super Bowl.

He served his time so I'm fine with him being able to play again, I respect him as a player. I still have no respect for him as a person however, never will.

Exactly how I feel, he could be a steal for a team game enough to buy him. He had a huge amount of talent and can be very useful in any teams running a variation of a wildcat offense. I hope this sets a precedent, and that guy who drunk drove and killed a guy gets a BIG suspension. He KILLED a man.

Actually it is a fine way to compare these things, more so with the way people talk about it. More so saying any set of morale standards shows you don't know many of them, some will happily say this about eating meat. But trying to put sex offenders to a pedictrican as the same is pretty desparate attempt to discredit the statement. Face facts, animals are tortured in the meat industry, beaten and treated subpar for the name of food. The two IS comparable, but what you just did....

I am against hunting yes... Thrown in jail, no because this isn't the law. If it was up to me I would not allow any creature to be killed for fun. I find such a notion to be repulsive.

This is fantastic and I am extremely happy for Michael Vick. The man has suffered the end of everything he once knew and yet still has the courage to wake up each morning and press on. Good luck Vick, I hope you become synonymous with the wildcat offense.

They should lose more for doing something that doesn't harm anyone but themselves? Do you feel the same about all drug addicts?

I really couldn't care what harm they're doing to themselves, I care more about the damage they're doing to the integrity of the game.

I hope he's learned his lesson. I doubt it, and he didn't serve enough time for the amount of animals he tortured and killed intentionally =/. I know I sound like a hippy, I just REALLY oppose animal cruelty in every form. Sure, animals have less intellectual capability, but they have nerve endings just as sensitive as humans.

I'm not suggesting he hasn't served his time and should be able to move on. I do however disagree that he be allowed to rejoin a position of publicity where he is idolized for young people. Any person who has the sadism in his heart to torture animals for other than the glee in doing so has to do more than serve a few months in a minimum security prison before he regains the right to crawl back into the limelight and earn millions of dollars.

Manny Ramirez lost $7.4 million. Just exactly how much more do you think he should lose?

I'd say have him forfeit all the money he's gained by cheating the game but that'd probably be too harsh. I just MLB to start taking tougher measuers against these guys. Do like they do in track, ban the guy for a year or two, have him come back and if fails another test then ban him for life.

Many people said the same thing about Randy Moss but how did that turn out? I'm not saying that they will or he's the missing piece I just think he could be a good fit. Not just for the Pats but for himself as well

I was comparing it to that. That lots of times animals are treated just as bad if not worse in those houses than what Vick ever did.
