It not even just her being Homophobic, she is just insane. Its pretty scary the amount of support she gets/Person0I find the same thing about Obama :|

Apparently, being a "fiscal conservative" candidate is enough for many people to look the other way when it comes to pretty much everything else. "That candidate believes the universe is 6000 years old? That's ok! He/she is a fiscal conservative!" "What is that you're saying? That candidate believes Benjamin Franklin had a dinosaur farm? Irrelevant! He/she is a fiscal conservative!"

Sin may not be real to you and I, but it is to those who are religious.
And on topic wise: Ugh is usually the expression I use at any republican debate.

Yes, but its a double standard with these republicans. The president is supposed to represent all people, and yet they force their religion on others and try to deny others equal human rights. Its utter BS.[QUOTE="Pikdum"][QUOTE="egnaterrr1"] Hey I found a book about the the flying spaghetti monster, and he says being straight is a sin, it must be real! lets abolish straight marriage! lots of things are a "sin" from the point of view of religions, but which don't fall under issues of actual human suffering or violations of individual freedom.

And that's where you lost all credibility.
Personally, I don't think the GOP has put forward a candidate worthy of election at all, yet. Any current candidate that is voted into office will for sure repeat the errors of the Bush presidency, because they all have the same ideals with the same level of intelligence. What's comforting is the fact that I don't know anyone with a degree higher than a college degree that feels any differently than I do.
Hopefully, Obama will get re-elected and he can continue to institute his policies, which by the way, without the ongoing problem of GOP intervention would have benefited the country immensely. Instead, the conservatives have blocked or seriously cut back on important legislation that would have improved the lives of us all. Luckily, the Tea Party is a joke, because that was definitely the wrong direction for the country.
I never thought someone could make her look sane....she seems like an angel compared to this hateful womanIt takes something really special to make Palin look sane
Zaibach
Apparently not.My prom date is a big supporter of her... and I can't call her an idiot because she is smarter than me :/.

Grades in school do not necesarily denote intelligence, but instead, merely application of determination towards one's studies.
What I don't understand is how like Perry, Bachmann, and Palin say that they're for the constitution but then support amendments banning gay marriage and abortion.
They love the consitution so much that they want to change it? Thank god the founding fathers put in the 3/4 state clause in the ratification process for clowns like them.
She does seem a little extreme. I dont mind religion, but please keep it out of politics. One shouldnt enforce their religion on others.
Obama just denies gays less than Michelle does. But fully supports? Lol, no.[QUOTE="resevl4rlz"]

He denies them less by repealing DADT and dropping the defense of DOMA?

Exactly, as I said, denies less. But he still doesn't fully support them. Do some research on his stance on gay marriage. Just because he took a stance against DOMA does not mean he favors gay marriage. He just doesn't think government needs to be wasting tax dollars on DOMA.

You know, William Brennan did not support abortion yet he was one of the key members to legalize it. Personal opinion =/= public stance. Also please source your claim that he did it for financial reasons.

Right after you source your claim that he fully supports gays to have all of the same rights that straights do, including marriage. Any source saying that "his views are evolving" on the subject doesn't cut it. You will find the fact is, he remains politically ambiguous about the subject. Ambiguity does not get things done.

I'm not going to mock or belittle you for your beliefs here, but I do have a question: Why is other people's sin any of your business? What skin is it off your back ether way? And would you, say, advocate legislation against a husband and wife who engage in anal sex?
