[QUOTE="Nibroc420"][QUOTE="frostybanana"] Well, they should have. If it were me, I would have done something. The most sensible thing to do is to separate the victim from the attackers. However, when the victim was sitting on the ground, regrouping from the attack, no one even went to her to help her up. No one asked her if she was OK. They just left her there. That isn't OK. The person video taping it didn't have to get involved, but he felt comfortable enough with the situation to video tape it for, what I can see, his personal amusement. Hence the reaction he had when she started shaking violently. That's isn't OK either. It's not about being a white knight. It's about being a human being. This is the state of our society now? One person get her hair literally pulled out by a group of 4 teenagers, and no one wants to help? That's very sad to me.frostybanana
That would've opened up another issue. IF the girls attacking chose to stop, great. However even with someone trying to seperate them, the attackers were still running over and kicking the girl. If someone were to try to physically remove the attackers from the mcdonalds, they'd probbably get attacked too.
Where were the police?
Yeah, so you're just supposed to wait until the teenagers stop kicking the victim, then it's all good. Is it easier to separate 4 people from 1 or 1 person from 4? And yes, they might get attacked too. Honestly, that shouldn't be what's going through your mind. What should be going through your mind is someone is getting attacked and they need help. If a couple of people (the manager, the guy with the camera) go over to her, pick her up and take her to safe location, those teenage girls aren't going to stick around to try and get some extra shots in. If you're worried about getting slapped by a teenage girl while doing that, then you're just a coward, I'm sorry.Slapped?
Look, theres 4 girls attacking 1 girl, stomping her as she lays defenceless on the ground. They clearly have the ideals that it's ok to cause physical harm to people and they clearly dont care about the consequences.
It's real easy for you to downplay the fact that these attackers were violent, because you werent there. However it's not hard to make the assumption that if anyone tried to physically remove the attackers they'd get alot more than just being slapped.
People on this board keep going "zomg he didn't do anything while the girl seizured!" You are NOT supposed to move someone while they are having a seizure, it can do more harm than good.
