Grave of the Fireflies. If you haven't seen it, it's the saddest anime movie you'll ever see from Studio Ghibli. I think there's plans for a live action version, too.

Well my name is Jack, Im Irish, I also had a huge facial hair interest when I came up with the name, I had facial hari since I was pretty young and thought it was awesome, it was kind of my defining physical feature. I also put the Sex in there because I thought my facial hair was sexy, or at least I wanted to think that lol.

Now that I think of it thats actually a pretty nice porn name too.

Mufasa's death. Over.

Hate watching that scene. I don't think it was Disney but in Wall-E there were times where I just kind of felt bad for him. Maybe it was a little personal in some ways.

Yeah, when I was young I cried at the ending of the Little Mermaid -- at that point I could never comprehend why she would want to leave her dad and stop being a mermaid for a boy.

Xiu Xiu is also a pretty depressing band. And Requiem for a Dream is one of the most intensely depressing movies I've seen in a while but it's also a pretty personal thing for me since some of my friends are addicted to heroin.

I can't even watch that movie. My little sister likes it but every time I see her watching it I try to fast forward through when Bambi's mother dies. She's only five so I don't think she's mad about not knowing what's going on and it's just way too over her head.

Did you really think that was depressing? Actually, yeah, I can see that. The ending was pretty bleak.
