No film has a more devestating ending.

"JackMcSexbeard", thats a unique name.... i think so...:D What inspired you to be called that way?
Grave of the Fireflies. If you haven't seen it, it's the saddest anime movie you'll ever see from Studio Ghibli. I think there's plans for a live action version, too.HardQuor

Well my name is Jack, Im Irish, I also had a huge facial hair interest when I came up with the name, I had facial hari since I was pretty young and thought it was awesome, it was kind of my defining physical feature. I also put the Sex in there because I thought my facial hair was sexy, or at least I wanted to think that lol.
Now that I think of it thats actually a pretty nice porn name too.

Hate watching that scene. I don't think it was Disney but in Wall-E there were times where I just kind of felt bad for him. Maybe it was a little personal in some ways.

I can't believe I forgot WALL-E!
Classic Disney Movies have some really depressing scenes. They really don't count because they all en happily. I can't think of the most deprressing movie I've seen right now.MrEnvelopeYeah, I think just about every older Disney movie had at least one scene designed to make people cry.

Yeah, when I was young I cried at the ending of the Little Mermaid -- at that point I could never comprehend why she would want to leave her dad and stop being a mermaid for a boy.
Children of Men was really depressing too.
And There Will Be Blood ...

I felt sorry for that pastor guy...sorta.. :(
Xiu Xiu The Sent Down Girl is by far the most depressing movie I've ever seen. Grave of the Fireflies and Fires on the Plain come to mind as fairly distant runner-ups. Lord_Daemon
Xiu Xiu is also a pretty depressing band. And Requiem for a Dream is one of the most intensely depressing movies I've seen in a while but it's also a pretty personal thing for me since some of my friends are addicted to heroin.

I didn't, he was such an ass  Btw is he the young lad who wanted the church built?Yeah. His twin brother was the one who wanted Daniel to go dig up the oil.
Seriously guys.. Agree with me! Bambi!CBR600-RR
I can't even watch that movie. My little sister likes it but every time I see her watching it I try to fast forward through when Bambi's mother dies. She's only five so I don't think she's mad about not knowing what's going on and it's just way too over her head.
