[QUOTE="surrealnumber5"] so muslims are not human? man that has to be against the ToU in some way.surrealnumber5
That's not what I said.
sentence1 "people are dishonest or hypocritical" "not muslims"your words muslims are not like people
sentence2 "it's a human thing, not a muslim thing"
once again muslims are not like humans
in two sentences you stated that muslims are not like humans or people
I'm saying that hypocrisy/dishonesty is not a trait specific to Muslims.
Erm have you actually been to pakistan on eid day? People eagerly await cow and camel slaughters just to get the lulz. When I was a kid I used to get the lulz out of the slaughther as well. If you havent actually seen public slaughters then please dont act like you really know what you are talking about. Erm, yes I have. And I doubt most are there to get the "lulz" from seeing something die. The happiness and excitement surrounds the tradition of the festival and practise.[QUOTE="dramaybaz"]
Erm, that is not slaughtering for entertainment purposes. The meat is eaten, just like it would be in any western restaurant, and a significant part of the meat is distributed among the poor.
Gambler_3
Middle Eastern Muslims believe they are the rulers of earth and better than everyone else. Western Muslims are respectful to other peoples views and see themselves as equal. The Quran in my opinion is a joke... seriously a man sat in a mountain not eating for 30 years receiving non stop visions from god? Thats called schizophrenia. No religion ftw!Skullsoldi3rNot eating for 30 years? I can't say I believe that is possible....

yes ive been to Pakistan on eid day and i barely notice anyone getting the lulz, most meat is given to poor people and relatives etc and i dnt know whats wrong with that. maybe some kids might find the slaughter to be lolzworthy but i dnt care about that as the main purpose of slaughter is not for the lulz but hey you're a biased atheist anyways....................

Prove it.
As a Muslim who has read the Quran I find it incredibly difficult that anyone could have concocted it.
Especially an illiterate man who spent his entire lifetime in poverty.

did you not read the post, the words make it quite clear what i am "on about now"Slaughtering for entertainment? thats the first time iv heard that , maybe its just a cultural thing in Pakistan? People very often mix culture with religion ¬¬ this is straight up out of wikipedia.
Eid (The 2nd Eid) is also about spending time with family and friends, sacrifice, and thanksgiving for being able to afford food and housing. In traditional or agrarian settings, each family would sacrifice a domestic animal, such as a sheep, goat, cow, or camel, by slaughter (though some contemporary Muslims do not sacrifice an animal as part of their observance, it is still a very popular tradition, even in Muslim communities in Europe). The meat would then be divided into three equal parts to be distributed to others. The family eats one third, another third is given to other relatives, friends or neighbours, and the other third is given to the poor as a gift.

Meh, iffy.
The strict moderations here are seriously getting ridiculous and honestly impeding real interesting and controversial threads such as these. Something has got to give.
If there is something that bothers you inside, why don't you try to dispute the credibility of his argument instead of stomping on the "Report Abuse" button? He gave his life story and seemed genuine.
Regardless this thread will end up getting locked sooner or later...

did you not read the post, the words make it quite clear what i am "on about now"lol You're exhibiting signs of dementia beginning to settle in. I dont know where are you getting this from, but sure....
You see TC,there's a wisdom behind butchering cows, sheep etc... on eid(whether publically or privatly it doesn't matter),it's to celebrate the end of the month of the holy month ramadan and to celebrate the coming of the eid Al-Fitr(which is basically a 3 day celebration for the 30 days of fast in ramadan),and the main reason behind butchering cows is to spread its' meat across the poor and whom in need,it teaches people to be generous and spread kindness and sharing amongst people.I'm not certain if Hindu have any relegious rituals or anything like that that is disrespectful to islam but if i saw it i'm not gonna run off and start complaining it because every single religion is different from the other and doesn't share the same concept of what's acceptable or not.If you didn't like what you saw then just look the other way around because in this time and world we live in where people of several religions, beliefs and nationality life together or far away from each other you need to have acceptance to the beliefs of others.

Excellent :D
Hello, what on earth you trying to tell to the world? You're once a muslim people before, right? If yes, stop making bad posts about Islam and please repent for your good. That's all.. the fasting month is now coming...I want to show everyone here an example of how indifferent Muslims are to the "feelings" of other religious people and yet when someone does something offensive to them, they will go all butt-hurt.
In Pakistan a country with 150 million Muslims, cows are publicly slaughtered on the Eid-Ul-Azha. Take a look here.
Now people are going to cringe when I will tell you that the cow slaughter is entertainment for people here and is one of the highlights of eid. Often children will also assist in the butcher as you saw in the video.
Now even if we somehow ignore how pathetic it is to display this as entertainment it so happens that the cow is a very holy animal in Hinduism which accounts for as much as a billion people around the world. In India there have been several deaths over these issues, Hindus don't want cow slaughter and Muslims don't want to be stripped of their right to do so. Currently in India it's not allowed anymore I think to publicly slaughter cows like this.
Now my question is, ok muslims shouldnt stop eating beef just because it offends hindus but why cant they atleast stop publicly buthering them?? Oh wait pakistan is a muslim dominated country, the muslims dont need to be politically correct here and can show their true self.
Imagine if a religion comes which has a yearly ritual of burning the Koran? All hell would break lose and jihad will be declared against that religion lol.
And before you say "nice generalising blah blah" there is not even a single person here who speaks against the public slaughter of the cow. And when something is said against Islam, a pretty significant no. of these people would be in favour of killing those who blasphemy. Those who are hating Islam these days aren't just stereotyping because of a few rotten apples, there is something wrong with a very significant population of the Muslim world.
A month or 2 ago, about a dozen Christians were burned alive becuase they had said something insulting about the Koran. There is a law here that anyone who blasphemies against Islam and the prophet will be given the death penalty, some people just decided to take matters in their own hand instead of delaying the inevitable.
And guess what? Most educated people I have talked to support this law.:|:|

Some problems with your point. For 1 like a lot of people said; you do not know all muslims. Now this can be taken 2 ways since not all religious believers are true hardcore believers. For one some of them question their own religion and in fact almost make their own version of that said religion. For example someone may think Jesus never walked on water because its impossible, yet they still believe there is a god and a heaven and hell. This for me stems from a mortality view of their own which they do not want to think or helps put their mind to rest about dieing. You try and explain how science thinks the world came about etc which is alot more logical and proven but you have to accept that there is some parts they can not explain just yet. I mean take for example why does God raise the sea floor to create tusnamis why does he not simply just move the water. Why must he break up the earths crust to destroy cities instead of just doing so. Why has he created a world with a solid molten core with a magnetic field to prevent the suns rays from basically destroying the atmosphere and killing of all life. Why infact did he create the sun the way it is. By those questions you can see prehaps if he or she or whomever is the creator is infact binded by the laws of physics them selves. He may have created the earth but he would have basially done it like an airfix kit which is a bit more advanced. I am infact straying off the point lol so back we gooooo 2. Burning the Qu'ran is more insulting than killing some cows like that. I am against that although then we must interfier in the spanish bull fighting tradition as well (which they wont like the EU money grabbing twits lol) So in the defense of the statement you do infact not know all muslims. Though those muslims mentioned are most likely more extreme in their views. Someone on here may know a Dr who is a muslim who is pro stemcell research etc (if it is against their religion I am not sure) which contradicts their book but they still have that underneath muslim quality about them.
The problem with religion is when it is let loose and people can basically be brain washed in to thinking completely impossible things are and limited to education and create hate towards other people.

so now i am a troll, that is the third slur you have called me. i know what he posted and what he posted is what he said. people are dishonest or hypocritical at some times, not muslims. people have this characteristic not muslims. its a human thing, not a muslim thing. its something humans do, it is not something muslims do.[QUOTE="Pixel-Pirate"][QUOTE="Gambler_3"]No most muslims atleast in europe are from the background I am relating to. They just become more "respectful" over there cuz they dont have a choice, they are the minority so they play it safe.
LJS9502_basic
In the US, plenty of Muslims are NOT from that background. They were born in the US.
He wasn't talking about the US though.....:|Since he felt the need to generalise by including ALL Muslims, he was talking about the US and every other country on the planet.
Muslims are like furries.
Both get bad rep, but only because a few select idiots decide to have the biggest voice, so that's how we see them.
99% of Muslims are respectable and kind.
99% of furries are just normal people with a hobby of fursuiting, drawing, and writing anthro.
looks like this is enough for that. Mods, please lock this one and one more thing, for muslims users in GS, happy fasting month and we should not make any trolls, bad post and anything else about islam.
