Yeah. They're NOT traits specific to Muslims, they're human traits, and since Muslims are included in humanity, Muslims can be hypocritical/dishonst. Sure it's anecdotal, but on the whole I've been given far more respect from Muslims than I have from Christians.

They have no repsect for life in general.

As a Muslim, I completely agree that many Muslims are hypocrites when it comes to freedom of speech, and that many don't show any respect for other religions. I know Muslims who will become outraged if they see someone mocking Muhammad, but say nothing about another prophet like Jesus or Moses being mocked.

And as much as I am opposed to being insensitive to others' beliefs, I don't there's anything wrong slaughtering animals (in slaughter houses, at least; and children should have no participation whatsoever). In this case, the end justifies the means. And that's because the meat from that animal is distributed to the poor.

I honestly don't care if someone burns a Koran, because there are millions of them in the world. However, I think doing that doesn't really send a message to Muslims so much as it makes them angry.

These religious debates make me glad to be an Atheist...I'm not even an outspoken one,but threads like this and the debates they start remind me why I chose the path I did.

And yes I eat beef but you know what? I never ask someone to restrict their freedom of speech and expression just so it doesnt hurt my feelings, anyone can say anything about atheists and all I will do is give a response in words. Muslims demand special pleading on many of their issues like their prophet shouldnt be drawn, quran shouldnt be burned etc so they should also restrict own freedom for others...and I am not even saying they should stop eating beef but just stop "ritually" slaughtering cows...
