My Girlfriend turned into a "Bible Freak"

This happened over night...and it has become VERY annoying...not that i dont believe in religion because im Catholic and shes Christian, i dont preach it or pray i was just raised Catholic, but its like she has become demanding wanting me to go to church with her, tells me im going to go to hell if i dont accept Jesus as my savior...we have been going out for 1 year already and we have "done it"

But now she says shes saving herself til shes married...any thoughts on how should i handle this? She dont even let me throw in any thoughts on religion she just doesnt want to hear anything that i tell her about it, shes being very close minded and contradicting...like for example she judges me for things i do but in other conversations she tells me how no body is supposed to judge another....HELPPPPP

Tell her that she's not a virgin maden anymore, since you had sex (oh my god, he said it!) and that, in the Lord's eyes, she's already a whore and she might wanna consider burning in hell with you, since she's already going there.

If this is causing you to be unhappy, talk to her about it.

If she doesn't want to change, end it.

Pretty simple :P

Unknowingly dose her with a hallucinogen, freak her out, then drop the line

"where is your God now?"

one of 2 things will happen

1) she will lose her belief in God and you will assume the role

2) She will fight your attempts and attribute her resolve to God, in which case she will be turn into perma- Bible Freak

Next time your together (not the phone) ask where this is coming from. If you guys do start fighting point out how it's kinda hard to save yourself for marriage when you have already had sex with each other.

Girl, you got me busting a gut here. I don't ever think I have seen a young adult use the term whackadoo in years.

Dump her. God is good, but i hate it when people over use him thinking they will go to heaven just by screaming his name. God is something special that's in the inside.

Drop her. If she went super religious overnight, I'd question her mental stability. Also, if she isn't letting you have a say in the relationship, then that is no bueno.

Have you considered asking your parents or a close friend for advice instead of random strangers on the internet? Or just sitting down and talking to her?

And I'm going to be honest with you, you're not going to get an unbiased answer on the internet, especially in OT since the vast majority of posters automatically jumped on the "Bible thumper = abandon ship" bandwagon. Speaking as someone who is spiritual, what you're experiencing is an unfortunate side-effect a lot of first time "converters" face; ie getting carried away. The best thing you can do is get advice to people close to the both of you and sit her down and talk.
