[QUOTE="lemonfreshpanda"][QUOTE="Quack_Attack"]Pulp Fiction Schindler's List Citizen Kane Giglisutherland19Don't care for the first three. The fourth is a masterwork. Well if that is a serious statement, then your taste in movies is horrid
Im pretty sure he was being sarcastic

Brick zakkro
i loved the dialogue in Brick, and the way they captured the seriousness and maturity of the situation at the same time still reminded you that they were still in high school.. it was like a high school crime syndicate.. and it was an intense storyline... it kept me guessing.. i liked it...... shoot i bet i could review better than this kid.

American Beauty Donnie Darko The Ice Storm happiness Big FishLockedge
im taking over....
american beauty - amazing, easily one of my favorites, middle class american suburbia at its best.. nice job :D
donnie darko - excellent premise... slightly under developed but the directors cut made up for it... leaves open for interpretation and i like that, good dialogue sequences... its good :)
the ice storm - another middle class american satire... brilliant :D
happiness- yet another great movie dealing with some of my favorite aspects of true happiness and the "american dream" of fullfillmeant... great writing. :D
Big Fish - i am a Burton fan and i may have a slight bias over this one because i saw it with my father and it controls a sentimental value personally... i enjoyed yet another tim burton wonder and once again loved the style and grace captured in his films... this one may touch a sentimental nerve in some. :)

Ugh, alright I get it...Princess Mononoke
Howl's Moving Castle
Grave of the Fireflies
Akira
dante_123456
big anime fan...
basically all studio ghibli have that same morality that just touches the hearts of everyone... it has child like wonder yet still fit for an adult... the fantasy and reality paralellism is amazing
and akira was just incredible for its time
Evil Dead :DdarkjedirpmIf trash cinema has a masterwork, it is this. Never before has a film with such ridiculous amounts of gore and cheesy acting been so visceral and exciting. If Hitchcock were an early eighties grindhouse filmmaker with no budget, a couple of bad actors (one of which went on to become brilliant), and a laughable script, he would have made this movie.
Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2nobodyshero87:D Tarantino gets knocked for ripping off other filmmakers. If you ask me, he's just a movie fan who happens to make them as well. Kill Bill is a fitting homage to both Japanese action filmmaking and spaghetti westerns, stealing a bunch of ideas and putting that good ol' Tarantino stamp on it all. He made a cheesy movie here, but one with deep characterization and, as always, brilliant dialogue (though more so with the second half, as the first half was more about fulfilling the tradition of blaxploitation).
Battle Royale Brat 2 Repentance Battleship Potemkin Ballad of a Soldier Ivan the Terrible and finally Kolya (if you have seen any of these movies I will be shocked, all but the first one are Russian or Soviet cinema)firebubbles
We had to watch Battleship Potemkin in my film class... the ending syncs up perfectly with the song "I Get Wet" by Andrew WK.

dude you seriously need to see these movies, they are among my favorites ever.
It's not conceivable that anyone is superior to me.. especially when it comes to taste. For example.. we all know Diary of Dreams and Cruxshadows and Velvet Acid Christ have superior music abilities compared to Justin Timberlake.
and we also know that Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is the best movie made in the last 10 years and then before that it was Fantasia
