Incase you are wondering you go to a private school for educational reasons not to be wrapped in cotton-wool as you seem to think you should be.

Chelsea-Kiwi
I go their for education, true, but I want to be treated with RESPECT. He insulted me for a reason that is pathetic to be honest. He was out of line.

[QUOTE="CleanPlayer"][QUOTE="duxup"] 99% of the time I disagree with this sentiment but I agree here. Really nothing is going to make it not happen and when you get older and stuff like this happens you can't go running to your parents...ferrari2001
He still had no viable reason to call me a B**** in front of my friends and peers. Seriously, it's unacceptable he called me that. I'm not letting him getting away with offending me.

I'm gonna go ahead and bet, nothing will happen to the teacher, the principle will probably take his side, and you will accomplish nothing.

I beg to differ :). Seriously, I have friends in the class who agree with me. If he apologized to me, then it'd be different. But he didn't. He called me a b***** for a pathetic reason.

Go up to him and ask him if he's going to apologize. If he does, then it's all good and done. If he doesn't, go on a rant about him needing to man up to his actions.

well I am shocked personaly I think you should turn him in that is extremely inappropriate and unproffessional and you should have called him out on it and informed him that he would be repremaneded for it if you decide to turn him in. Which you should do for the above reasons and also inform him that you are ashamed to call him one of your instructors that is just horrible teachers are meant to facilitate the learning process not insult you and use inappropriate language in front of the class room and using it to attack a student verbally is just disgusting.

No matter the reason I'm still betting the principle won't transfer you, he won't fire or suspend the teacher, at the very most he MIGHT get a verbal warning.

[QUOTE="CleanPlayer"][QUOTE="hydralisk86"] Tell the principal. Seriously, do it.hughami
I'm definitely seeing the principal tomorrow morning and for to transfer out of his class.

did you read my post?! that **** happens all the time dude. what grade are you in? if your in 6th grade or above im going to internally combust into flames..............................no joke :| . stop being a little ***** and man up. i dont blame your teacher for it. since i didnt give any advice before..........ill say this, next time he calls you something chaotically jump out of your chair and say it right back to him even louder and stare him in the eyes. i did it once, made my day. and you wont get in trouble since he cant tell the principal or your parents "your son called me a ****!..........oh yeah i did it first." he couldnt do jack **** about it, especially if you got friends to back you up. but transferring out of his class will get everyone calling you a whiny *****. if you take that kind of **** from someone who isnt bigger than you or has a weapon etc lol, you probaly are. i mean saying that you wanna transfer for that petty **** says it all. your teacher just stated the obvious when he said that.

I'll be honest dude, if you acted like this at my school, you will get expelled for acting like that. I don't get what point your trying to prove. Being disrespectful right back won't solve anything. No-one disagrees with me in the class, they all thought he was out of line. I don't let people call me that and get away with it.

Yes because bringing your cell phone turned on is a sign of respect. Wait till you get to college. Some College teachers hate that and they will throw you out of the class of 300 , now that's a public mockery.

I'm not making generalizations I'm talking from observation. People at highschool who are deeply into anime and JRPGs aren't exactly the coolest or most confident bunch.
Plus I personally hate anything anime/JRPG related as it's probably the most cheesy uninspired crap ever created by man.

I also can't stand people who aren't able, or are too neurotic to defend themselves against personaly attacks be it from teachers or peers.

Oh man if a teacher, instuctor, professor called me a b**** I would flip out man. You need to take action that **** right there is unacceptable for a person in power. They are held to a higher standard then students and need to act accordingly. Sure they are human but there are ways to punish and vent via the system in place.

I would personally go and confront him about it first and if he is still an a-hole then go above his head, its no different then when interacting with people in the real world. Don't bead around the bush or do some passive-agressive BS. Man up and talk to him and see what his problem is then act.

And don't bother listening to these people saying he had a right because he didn't ignore them because they obviously haven't had anything like this happen to them and simply don't grasp that this is completely inappropiate to say.

[QUOTE="Rottenberry"]I'm not making generalizations I'm talking from observation. People at highschool who are deeply into anime and JRPGs aren't exactly the coolest or most confident bunch.
Plus I personally hate anything anime/JRPG related as it's probably the most cheesy uninspired crap ever created by man.crazy-player
Wow, you just said you were not making generalizations but you stated that "people at highschool who are deeply into anime and JRPG's arent exactly the coolest of the most confident bunch..." so you are making generalizations.

No I'm telling the truth. Stating a fact. Describing the obvious.

Tell the principal about it. If he/she doesn't trust you, you can get your friends to be witnesses.

Desulated

lol like the principal can do anything against the teacher. The principal will probably laugh at the kid. Then there is teachers union.

No, you're being ignorant. And who said he was "deeply involved" in it, as I said before people like different things than you, it doesn't make them less cool or confident.
