I've had so many over the past weeks, but the one I've liked most is Broadway. They're a lot like Saosin for those who are interested.
What about you guys?

[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"] MardukDarth-CaedusYou starting to like them now?:o:D
Been listening to and liking Those of the Unlight. :D
Trail Of Tears (absolutely fantastic), Leaves' Eyes, Sirenia, UnSun, Within Temptation, La Oreja de Van Gogh (relatively recent, a few months back, best pop band ever).
Actually, you should check out UnSun, battlefront23, I think you might like them. :D
The Other Side
Bring Me To Heaven
Edit: changed the link for bring me to heaven, the first one's quality was awful. I don't think this one is much better, though... :P

It's a tough question. It's not a matter of discovering bands but getting into them. Recently I've been buying Porcupine Tree albums and I've listened to lots of the Libertines lately.
[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"] MardukDarth-CaedusYou starting to like them now?:o:D :cry: I missed the Marduk concert (with 9 other BM bands) Thursday night because my friend backed out (he had been planning to go for the past few months) and I figured it'd be too awkward and a lot less fun to go alone.

You'll get used to the vocals in time. It took me about a week after I bought the album to really appreciate it (including the vocals), but that's just because I listened to it so many times. :P
By the way, check this out. Tell me if you like it. :D

The riffs were pretty sweet too! But yeah, the voice again bothered me. You're gonna mock me for this, but I really do prefer core screaming over actual metal screaming.By the way, check this out. The epitome of shoegaze, imo. I've listened to a bit here and there and found nothing as captivating. Seems like there's a lot of clones of them in the genre, so I really haven't found it to be that fantastic of a genre. But there's definitely some gems out there, making it a fairly worthwhile endeavor.I just got "Loveless" by My Bloody Valentine today. It's making me love Shoegazing.

Bombay Bicycle Club was really good. I would like xx if they didn't look like goth kids from the 90s. Anyway, lately I've been listening to ALOT of These Arms Are Snakes. Early black metal tended to have poor production quality, since the bands couldn't get big production labels. That's what you're seeing. :P
And, in any case, band names are not generally indicators of the quality of the music...

Hmm, I really recommend early Judas Priest. Check out Sad Wings of Destiny, Stained Class, actually just everything up to and including Hell Bent for Leather.
