Thanks for taking the first link out of context... did you watch the video? Second link... do you know what a tax cut is? And "95% of working families" was what he said in that link. Also, has he imposed a VAT Tax yet.... no so the discussion is void. Thanks for trying to misinform people in the spirit of Fox News.

the_new_guy_92

Out of context? In no uncertain terms, and at various moments during the 2008 campaign, Obama stated his opposition, in principle, to an individual health insurance mandate. You can try to spin that however you want, but no amount of pedantic spinning will change the absolute fact that Obama's position on the individual mandate has rotated a full 180 degrees since the campaign.

He opposed the mandate during the campaing, but once he became president, then he supported it. That means that he was lying to everyone during the campaign and as such deserves to have scorn heaped upon him for being a decietful and corrupt liar that is not worthy of respect either as a person or as president.

In regards to taxes, he campaigned on the promise of cutting taxes for 95% of Americans. Furthermore, he promised, in absolute terms, that he would not raise any taxes for anyone making less than $250k/year. The healthcare reform bill raises many taxes that people making less than $250k/year will have to pay. Taxes on medical equipment, tanning salons, medications, and health insurance plans were all included in the bill. This makes Obama a liar, and that's a FACT.

Nearly every president gets a ton of hate from people. I've never seen this much hate from actual elected officials however. Its probably at its worst since Southern congressmen and Abraham Lincoln.

Well what im trying to say is that people ain't killing each other because of this 'depression' in US. And he kept some of his promise and change will not happen in 2 years, nor 4 years. He said in one of his speeches that it will take a long time for America to be smooth again. And yah, depends on what you think as 'bad'

Obviously its because all white conservatives are racists. I mean, just the other day Newt Gingrich called Obama an athlete. AN ATHLETE !!!! I mean, can you be any more racist than that? I know its racist cuz Nora Odonell at MSNBC told me so.

Poor Barack must cry himself to sleep every night. I know I do just from thinking about how mean people are to him.

wait is that the argument now? "Oh sure he brought us change, but he just did it because he said he would"???? What kind of argument is that? Obama did what he said he was going to do and he won't stop there. Next step is financial reform, and I'm sure that despite the fact that bad finances is why we got into another depression, people will say that he changed that poorly also.

I don't understand why so many Americans are so against gouvernment run health care. It's not perfect but it works fine in Canada. Isn't better to be able to get the treatment you need from the gouvernmentsystem instead of needing insuranse or you're screwed?

In genereal I don't think he is, there's a radical movement against him larger than other presidents though. However if a poll had been taken about every president (while they were president) simply asking do you respect the (current sitting president) he'd be far from the most disrespected in history.

No one in America, including illegal immigrants goes without healthcare. Federal law already prohibits turning away those seeking care. That's why we didn't need Obamacare.

What's up with this crazy amount of hated towards our current president?

QuistisTrepe_

None of this has ever happened with any other president.:|

Besides the contested election results, Bush had a grace period of at least 3 years... Obama was attack as soon as he beat out Hilary. Not one president has ever been accused of not being an American. Not on president has ever came into office being called the antichrist(by other politics), not one president has ever had is presidency called a failer by the media (left or right) within his first 4 months. To say Bush was treated as badly is laughable. it took his second term for the full blast of hatred to come his way and even then it wasn't as bad as Obama's first year.
