Ron Paul
Rudy Gulliani
Mckain for the win!!!!!!!!!!!!
i really want ron paul to win, but for democrats id vote for obama
K1R1LL
yes ive seen it, but whats so bad about it? hes just showing whats wrong now and how he can change it if he wins
And what do you think will happen once he gets elected? Do you actually think he's going to come in and make sweeping changes? No. Politics don;t work like that.elblanquito_81
I like this logic. Their are problems with the political system, so clearly, shouldn't make even a slight effort to combat them, but should actually support them?
If he gets elected all that's going to happen is he's going to surround himself with intelligent, powerful people who know how Washington runs.
Slippery slope fallacy.
People who are just like the types you mentioned that will only use him to further their own political needs and goals.
 Madamme blanquito, I did not know that you could predict the future! Where's the crystal ball?
Washington is a shark-infested pool that will eat up a newbie like Obama whether he's aware of it or not.
And frankly, i'm already tired of your excuses for Washington's bad habits. But hey, clearly, submission is better than trying.
Obama vs. Ron Paul
Obama voted to reauthorize the patriot act
Obama is for keeping the troops in Iraq and 130 other countries
Obama will not take nuking Iran off the table
Obama will continue the same foreign policy of the Clinton/Bush years
Obama is for the government playing a bigger role in our lives
Ron Paul voted against the patriot act
Ron Paul voted against the Iraq war
Ron Paul will bring our troops home from around the world
Ron Paul is for a neutral foreign policy
Ron Paul will work to abolish the IRS and eliminate the federal income tax by reducing spending
Ron Paul will end corporate lobying in Washington BlueBarad
You sound just like a corporate ad for christ sake. Provide a link. Now.
I heart Huckabee. I've been all for Huckabee since I first heard of him months ago.mindstorm
Lol, just because Huckabee is a priest doesn't mean he is better. He pardoned a Rapist who had a life sentence. The guy then went on to Rape and Murder again...what kind of Christian is that?
He will say anything to get elected. Don't let the wolf in a sheep's clothing fool you.

Frankly, I'd be tired too if Ispent so much time reading and breaking down someone's post in a lame attempt to refute everything they said by adding some snarky remarks. And on top of that not even being able to provide some viable input to further the discussion. :roll:One more thing: I don't know what you meant by madamme, but I'm a guy. "El" is just Spanish for "the". It doesn't mean Miss or Mrs.

He made a mistake in pardoning him but he did what governers regularly do. The guy was a model inmate and did everything he needed to do to be pardoned. It isn't Huckabee's fault for doing what he was supposed to. Besides that, when has there been another time he has been questioned. I agree with what he says. He lets morality be his guide and I want that in a leader. Someone who leads this country to do what is right. He also has good ideas for limiting government power over it's people which is a good thing.

Uhhhh "another time he's been questioned?". Answer: Countless. Huckster is not the man for the "christian base". "Limiting government power" now I'm a Democrat, but Huckabee is as close to a liberal Republican as possible. I've lived with him as my governor for his entire term. He's not ready at all. Maybe as a VP. Not that I'm voting Republican, but if he wins NH & SC and the media really digs into his doings here in Arkansas there will be a lot of things come out you all never imagined.

WHAT???? I can't believe I am reading this. Think as if it were your mom that got killed after the guy had been released from jail. A Model Citizen in prison? cmon man, get real.
You don't think that Huckabee is also a Model Minister? You just saw what a model convict can do.
Don't let your faith blind you.
I'd support any of the top 3 democrats (Obama, Clinton, Edwards) over any of the Republicans...except Ron Paul but we all know he won't be the republican nominated to run
I am pro choice, pro gay rights, for seperation of church and state, against the death penalty, against the patriot act, against the war in Iraq so basically Huckabee is one of the least ideal candidates for me

Why not Ron Paul? It's not their choice, it is YOUR choice.
Watch the "Change the World" vid in my sig.
Right now Obama is my favorite candidate, I'll vote for him before anyone else. I have no problem with his few years in government and I really don't see a correlation between great leaders and years spent. Look how long people like Cheney and Rumsfeld had. While I know there are plenty of examples of great leaders with lots of experiance, there are a lot of examples of the opposite. I really didn't think Obama stood a chance until the primary results came in so I'm a little more optimistic now.
As for the Republican candidates: Huckabee is a religious nut case. I don't trust Romney nor do I agree with his policies. I must say this though, even with the fact that Ron Paul stands no chance and is only supported by a few fanatics and internet geeks, I'll call him out for the lunatic he is. If I had to choose a Republican it would be McCain but he's just so damn old I'd have to really consider who his VP would be.

Speaking the truth is now being a Lunatic? Ron Paul is a Duke MD Graduate.
Again, find out for yourselves and do not let the media decide your canditate.
Look at the lunatic explaing the price of gas:

Classic case of style over substance bull. Oh boo hoo, you don't like how I worded my counter responce! So you won't answer any of my arguments? Grow a pair, because if we ever get into an argument again, I don't want to have to bring this again just for you.
Here's a good description of what a slippery slope fallacy is. It was used a lot by Kerry's attackers back when he was running for the Presidency. It was dumb then, it's even worse now.

I can see my fortune teller joke went right over your head. Figures.
He was an avid drug user due to back pain but he used to extremes and they say it clouded his judgement.

If the Republicans vote for him in the primaries to get him nominated I would vote for him, it just isn't going to happen.
