Anyone up to go to iran.  

There are currently no plans to release the film in Iran, but bootleg DVD copies of the movie are already in the marketplace there.

They have it on DVD!

the only ugly looking persians was the immortals and they explained why they looked the way they did. I didnt see anything wrong with the camera, plus is was a new thing they were doing, no director knows exactly how to make perfect camera angles when they are shooting nothing but green screens.

Persian were not slaves,actually Cyrus(a persian king) prepared the first(??)human rights

Women were equal to man in Persian society,there were even generals

well the persians intentions was to destroy greece. Plus no matter how the govenrment of persia was they were conquerors. They were the biggest empire at the time, and they didnt get it by being nice freedom lovers, they had to fight ,pillage, kill and conqueror to gain the land they had, and there next stop was greece, however greece wouldnt go down with out a fight, and in the end greece was able to stop the persians.

I just saw 300 in IMAX. I really don't see what the hype is all about. Sure, it was cool looking and all but that's about all there was to the movie. Fairly average movie.NearTheEnd

wow nice waste on money, word to the wise go see a movie in a regular theather before you waste time and money on imax.

but it was only mediocore to you. i loved it so i would go see it in imax, and iam in a week. But if yeah havent seen it before yeah should of went to see it at a regular theather.

no cause there is three lotr books so they made three movies, there is only one hobbit book and they want to make 2 movies.

The Lord of the Rings is one book.
It's split up into three now for the sake of the consumer, but it was originally one book.

anceint historians say it was 2mil-5mil, historians now think it wass more like 250,000, but no one really knows. Its not historically accurate, most of it actually happened, but its based off the graphic novel.

yeah it was 300 spartans, 700 thespains, and a bunch of other greeks.

but did sparta really win in the battle? i heard it was a distraction to maintain the main sparta army.mixedplanet

the 300 spartans lost  that battle but there kill death ratio really made it a vistory for them, there fight cause moral to grow in greece. A year later the greeks beat the persians at the battle of platea, were it was 10000 spartans and 30,000 greeks vs the persians.

yeah they were still outnumbered, but not as much as the 300 were. At the time of platea xerxes  had gone back home and left one of his generals in charge with the army, and they were defeated. Athens had a big role in the whole war. there navy played a big role.
