OT ? Do you cry when you feel very hurt or when you feel emotional ?

I cry watching very emotional or sad scenes from movies . Or when deeply hurt by someone / losing someone . Never cried during a physical pain so far .

What about you ? :)

I might get tears in my eyes, but I hardly ever cry. Nothing wrong with crying though, unless you're doing it constantly.

Well, movies and books tend to make me cry quite frequently, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's because I rarely ever cry just for myself in life, so I let it out during movies/books? I don't know, it's just a guess. I'm a pretty sensitive person, but I rarely react to situations with tears, unless someone close to me has died or something.

I might tear up a little, normally only when a good friend turns on me... Very rare though.

I've been watery-eyed every now and then, though it's been a LOOOONG time since I've actually "cried."

Well I really felt weird at my grandfathers funeral cause I was the only one not crying. I did care that he died, I just mentally didn't think it was a reason to cry.

I cry whenever I see fairly emotional or sad scenes in a movie or on TV. I just can't help it.

I cry every single time I think of kitties dying. Not even just my cat. Somebody told me today about how their friend's cat had to be put down, and I cried for like an hour.

I cry at everything that's even sort of sad. I have a problem.

Thanks *sniffs armpits and flexes* I try my best to be as manly as possible. But seriously I don't see any reason for a guy to cry other then theses two reason, and also a massive amount stress an it has to be in private or in front of your mother...

Well, the best advice I can give to you is that you can't control what has happened, but you CAN control what you do from here on out. She may have seemed like "the one", but I've been there before, and trust me, there are plenty of other interesting women out there for you to meet. :)

I don't cry, only on ultra rare occasions I shed tears. Even if my whole family and all my friends dies I would not tear up, sometimes I can be cold.

Not necessarily crying, but I would attribute being overly-emotional to femininity.

2 I live outside Port ANgles and when and if I ever am ready there is nowhere to meet any girls my age (33)

I suppose I'm the odd man out, after reading all the responses. I cry all the time. Often uncontrollably. Almost as much as I did when I was very young. The reasons change, but the essence is the same.

Sure, I wouldn't have a problem dating a guy who actually cried every now and then. If it makes him feel better, then I don't see why it's a problem. I mean, I don't really like being around crying people because I feel awkward, and I know that crying doesn't actually actively fix problems, but if it's a coping mechanism for someone or if they feel better after doing it, who am I to tell them to stop? I extend that to both males and females.
