[QUOTE="Abbeten"]'The stock market and US dollar are both plunging today. Welcome to @BarackObamas second term.' hahaha oh my godStevo_the_gamerStock market trends to react negatively towards democratic elections. That's not what's happening. Washington Post [quote="Associated Press"] The ease with which Obama secured four more years in the White House avoiding the uncertainty of ballot recounts, as in 2000 had buoyed markets early in the day. But as the day wore on, investors grew concerned over the implications of a still divided Congress. With Obama freshly reelected, leaders moved with alacrity to recast Washingtons often divisive politics. Though the Democrats maintained the presidency and their majority in the Senate, the Republicans remain in command in the House of Representatives. That could lead to a logjam in policymaking, not least over the parlous state of the countrys public finances. The most pressing matter facing the U.S. government is the so-called fiscal cliff a combination of higher taxes and government spending cuts that automatically take effect unless Congress agrees on a new budget by Jan. 1. Economists warn that a failure to reach a concrete decision will push the worlds largest economy back into recession. Market initially reacted favorably to Obama's reelection. It is afraid of partisan gridlock, basically that Republicans will continue their obstructionism over the last four years with the split control over Congress. The stock market today is thousands of points higher than it was when Obama took office.

Then the head of the ECB said that he expected a bad European economy for the forseeable future and that he saw data suggesting that Germany was about to get hit by the eurocrisis after having been largely insulated from it. You can imagine what happened to the markets after that.

[QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"]Hillary Clinton vs. Chris Christie. and based just on gut check, i like Christie more. Hillary would be tough to beat even for Christie. Ideally, I'd want to see Condoleezza Rice go up against Hillary Clinton. Epic battle.[QUOTE="dave123321"]Guys 2016 Who do you think will run?SaudiFury

I happen to live in sa[QUOTE="Laihendi"][QUOTE="nocoolnamejim"] My way, WAY too early darkhorse prediction...Tim Kaine out of Virginia.nocoolnamejimRand Paul Gary Johnson Hillary Clinton I think it would be funny if Bush Sr. and Jimmy Carter got the GOP/dem nominations and ran against each other. Given that I'm not sure either one are capable of eating solid food at this point, it would indeed be funny to watch. Almost as much fun as watching Ron Paul ramble away incoherently.Rambling incoherently? Ron Paul dominated every debate he was in. It is so easy to find videos of him making Romney, Santorum, Perry, Gingrich, and various moderators look like idiots. I haven't seen any where they did that to him.

lol, wut? Ron Paul can't debate worth sh!t. His answers are rambling and he just repeats Libertarian talking points ad nauseum.
You're seriously wearing rose-colored goggles if you think Ron Paul is a better debater than Romney.
