Pokemon vs Digimon!

plus, i remember digimon having a suprisingly deep story for a kids show. In the second series, Ken is considered the ultimate bad guy at the beginning but their is a whole episode about him and when his brother died... at the time i really couldnt care less about it, but looking back it was pretty emotinal for a kids anime.

I find it strange that people are still saying "Gotta Catch 'Em All!".

Do you guys not realize that stopped being the catch phrase after Generation III? This was because there was already a fairly large number of pokemon and also with the exposure of legendaries it was shown that catching Legendaries was considered morally wrong.

The only thing Digimon and Pokemon have in common is that they both end in "mon" and have monsters. Aside from that they bear no relation.

Yu-Gi-Oh rocks. The TV show was great(through the recent seasons look lame), and I had play the trading card game a lot in middle school.

Better TV show - Digimon by far (actually had a plot, better characters, better music save for the Pokemon theme song :P)

Better games - Pokemon (great RPGs, probably because they came before the show, Digimon game are jsut standard tie-in crap_

Actually between the three for TV show, Yu-Gi-Oh was the best IMO, mostly because the story was more interesting. But Digimon was still pretty(the first couple of seasons that is) good and it did have the best movie out of the three, while I hated Pokemon. The whole Team Rocket thing just got old very fast, and yet they are still being use over and over again. Plus the story wasn't as good as Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh. Luckily the games are great.

For trading card game, I agree, Yu-Gi-Oh blows the other two out of the water.
