Pokemon vs Digimon!

I've memorized both theme songs :P hamstergeddon

This statement doesn't make much sense seeing as each season of both had a different theme song :|

It is close competition between pokemon and pineapples. Pineapples rock.

Digimon is way behind though, getting spat on by things such as avacados and courgettes.

Not everyone has a pokemon in Pokemon either. Just like a the Generation III seasons. Max has no pokemon.

But I loved the Digimon series. Just awesome, watched it all the time. I remember some Saturday mornings when there was a new Season 1 episode and I had to miss it because of a Cross Country meet so my friend recorded it on his no-cable TV but it was all staticky. Better than nothing though. :D

I like the Pokemon games though. But I've been looking for Digimon World DS and I think I'd have a lot of fun with that.

I don't like either, but pineapples are good. easteast

When I was a kid I always preferred Digimon more. I have no clue why. Game-wise I thought Digimon Dawn/Dusk was better than Diamond and Pearl.

I find it funny that Digimon fans keep reviving this thread. Do you guys think that the majority's opinion is going to change or something? Sorry kiddies, but Pokemon in it's hey day was, is, and will always be better than that sad excuse of a rip off.

I loved the Digimon series, but I felt that as it progressed beyond the first 2 seasons the quality of it just seemed to go downhill. The 3rd and 4th seasons weren't horrific IMO, but it just couldn't touch the first 2. The games for Digimon were good at best, but there are lots of duds I'm afraid.

Pokemon on the other hand... beyond the scope of the very original chunk of it (like the parts that the original GB games covered) the series just became aimless in my opinion and just turned me off from it. The games for Pokemon on the other hand, are what redeem it.

So in the end, I say Digimon only because the first two seasons were awesome. :P

Digimon = your sole companion that helps you save the world, it can talk to you, it can give you advice, it can play cards with you, it does more than fight, it's like a twin.

Digimon was better show to watch and it had a good story and characters you can relate to. The movie also owned every Pokemon movie out. But Pokemon games > Digimon.Tjeremiah1988

I grew up with Pokemon, both the shows and the games(The gameboy games) are a large part of my childhood.

But the Dusk and Dawn edition really took the competition to another level giving us fans the almost same experince as Pokemon only it was different in many ways. I would really be interested in seeing a movie featruing both Digimon and Pokemon. Foruexample, after the clash with Arceus, Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina (if there are survivors) the battle makes a hole in the time space continuum which unites all the digidestined seasons 1-2, 3, maybe 4, 5 with all of ashes friends Misty, Brock, May, Dawn, Gary, Richie, Barryand all his other rivals and there is a big clash there when cyrus and giovanni team up with all evil digimon like Lucemon, Apocalymon, Venomyotismon and all the other bad guys. That would be the FREAKIN BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTT!!! This would be a trilogy of trilogies!!!!!!!!!
