[QUOTE="Im-not-normal"]Anyone who has played MGS3 has listened to Starsailor. Son, you've got a way to fall. They'll tell you where to go But they won't know. Man I haven't played that game like in 3 or 4 years and I still remember that song. Also I tried listening to their other songs and they weren't that great though.Starsailor.

If you like Sunset Rubdown, you might like Wolf Parade and Swan Lake. And, as a side, you might like Handsome Furs. Spencer Krug(the head of SUnset Rubdown, basically) formed Wolf parade with Dan Boeckner and some other guys I can't recall the names of right now. Wolf parade is awesome. Swan Lake is a canadian supergroup of spencer's and a bunch of other large names like Dan Bejar of Destroyer. Handsome Furs is Dan Boeckner and his wife's band, which is quite solid. I think there's a decent chance you'll like all of the above. :)Sunset Rubdown, just found out about them

I'm liking nightingale/December song:o Yeah, that's easily the best song off the new album. Kind of sweird, Sunset Rubdown are usually consistent with the quality of their stuff, to a point, but one song tends to really stand out on each album, like "Stallion" off the album "Random Spirit Lover"[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]

[QUOTE="bokiloki"]Thanks for your input. Not even a band you listen to that others might not have heard before. Way to join in on discovering new music. The best thing to do when you don't like someones opinion is to say absolutely nothing, don't even acknowledge that they are there.Metal Music is horrible, that all I know.

Thanks for your informative, relevant contribution to this thread.
I'd give a cookie to anyone who's listened to Have A Nice Life. Man, they're good. Had one of the best releases last year(my personal #2) that runs only $5 digital dl. Such a good deal it makes walruses cry.LockedgeI'm going to quote this with song links, because they're pretty rad. BloodhailDeep, DeepHunterWhich is a long song, but builds excellently.

True. :P I tend to lash out whenever opportunities to open your ears to new music happen, and people come in exclusively to close them. Frustrates me.Metal Music is horrible, that all I know.

I don't listen to them, I just listed a band that no-one would listen to here and this being Gamespot, Jonas brothers was an obvious choice.

Now a band that I think noone hear listens to? Jonas Brothers and BrokenCYDE...Everyone here probably knows them, noone listens to them.
The dude bringing up "Blinded Colony" -- i´m not a fan, but i do listen to them every now and then, namely "Once Bitten, Twice Shy". It has that "In Flames"-esque feel to it, before they turned into what i regard as mediocre.
I´m a pretty big fan of Kashmir. It´s a danish band, but the quality of their music is unquestionably world class. Certain songs of theirsremind me of a modern Radiohead, with less electronica but with more acoustics, and i regard them as completely on par as far as musical prowess goes.
Also, astounding liveband. :)
