Well, it may be boring to you (and you're entitled to your opinion), but there's far more originality in metal than there is in many other genres, and that can be attributed to the massive amount of bands from different countries.

As for the song you posted, I'd like to reiterate the part in my last post where I said "Aside from a few bands." Meaning there are original, interesting bands in metal. It's just that it's so rare and hard to find.

mustaine is actually a cool guy, and cmon its metal, 90% of voices suck. but on the contrary, my favorite thrash metal vocalists are dave mustaine and mille petrozza. i love the sarcasm in mustaine's voice and his snarls... he of course isnt a good vocalist technically, but outside of dio dickenson, halford, diamond, michael A of opeth and maybee 5 others.. who is? dave actually isnt arrogant, he just has very low self confidence and thinks everyone is out to get him / needs to prove himself, so he puts that persona on. but he has gotten better especially recently. he posts on the megadeth forums, and he is actually a very humble guy.

also i too believe that lars and james are complete dbags, and kirk is a secret manlover, but that dosn't matter when i listen to kill em all - and justice for all, yeah they are nowhere near the best metal band, but their is no disputing that those 4 albums are classics.

pretty much when it comes to listening to music, i dont care what the band members are like.. i still care what the band is like.. but it wont change if the music is good or not for me. i care about the two issues seperately and do not let one influence how i feel about the other.

you will burn in hell for posting iron maiden. you can leave now. :evil:

I'm too lazy to look up bands i LIKE....but most of the ones i hate would fall under either rap or country

Meh, theres lots of bands/groups out there I dont like, pretty much any Metalcore, hardcore band that has members who growl and shriek thinking their music is hard yet look like flamboyant, girlish looking lady boys with nut squeezing jeans.

You do have a fair point about their music sounding similar. I've only just started listening to them, but I did notice that.

To be fair, though, the only album of theirs that I have is Inhuman Rampage.

There's an entire subgenre devoted to that type of metal. There's quite a few bands in it actually, and it's not like that's the only original subgenre either.

Probably because they can't write songs, Herman Li and Sam Totman are sloppy guitarists, and they edit their sound in the studio?
