I've been gone for a few years. Didn't realize abortion jokes are less tacky these days.[QUOTE="jalexbrown"][QUOTE="chaoscougar1"] Tacky? How was that tacky?Iszdope

These are common symptoms of pregnancy, but I was wondering if it was possible for these symptoms to appear anyways without neccesarily being pregnant. lil_zelda_dudeThey are also common symptoms of menstruation. If you don't know these basic facts, and are not responsible enough to protect yourself before having sex, then you really shouldn't be having sex.
Plan B is a synthetic hormone. And they can affect period flow and other menstrual symptoms just like birth control pills do. Birth control pills like Yasmin can make your periods light as well.helwa1988Yasmin is the one that is currently the subject of that big class-action lawsuit because it's causing gall bladder problems right?
**UPDATE** Week later, she has what seems to be another period its heavier this time, she thinks that maybe the first time was spotting. We havnt taken a PT but are soon as the time hasn't passed enough for it to be entirely accurate. Tommorows shes going to visit the doctor because somethings obviously going on here now. lil_zelda_dudeIt was likely that she was pregnant. Either way she's had a full period and that's that. To be clear if she was pregnant she's not anymore. I'm not sure why you haven't done a pregnancy test yet because that would have answered your question. If she was prenant, but still aborted the embryo, she would still have a positive pregnancy test for a while afterwards. This stuff about it not being accurate because not enough time has passed is nonsense. They will do one tomorrow so it doesn't matter now.
Perhaps you should be more cautious next time...
Edit: The heavier second period was cause by the plan B. That's what it's supposed to do. If you want to know why there was a first smaller period google implantation bleed.

Honestly a period is exactly what you want.
And the prize for the most foolish post I have read goes to... Take pregnancy test is my advice, and next time use a condom. Its not even about using a condom, If you don't wanna use one then atleast shoot in her mouth or summin, this is common sense I don't understand why people haven't been educated about this. Fair enough if its a poor country but in a well developed country? Naaaaa

What exactly are you saying here, that its basically clear she had a miscarriage? I know what implantation bleeding its likely that thats what her first light period was. Could you just clarifty on exactly what your saying because you seem quite sure and I'd like to know. Were both 18 and living with our parents, of course we just graduated though. Were going to the same community college for Gen Eds and then from there we have different colleges in mind. This community college would have us living with our parents still. A baby obviously would complicate these plans. Well the good news is that at 18 your girlfriend is physically mature to the point were there shouldn't be any serious medical issues from the pregnancy. Most colleges offer some resources to help students with children take care of their children, so you and your girlfriend should probably look into this. Many people have babies in high school or college and still graduate and get a degree. Also your parents and hers will probably be willing to help you guys take care of the kid and will probably offer good advice to you, though they may be a bit surprised or upset when they first hear the news, after a while they will probably be willing and maybe even excited to take care of your kid (and don't forget that you're extended family may be willing to help as well).[QUOTE="lil_zelda_dude"][QUOTE="whipassmt"] I've never had 'the scare".

Also, as a general life lesson, plans will often have to be tweaked and adjusted to accomodate changes. We are not omniscient so it is best to make plans that are flexible.
I don't know which college you are going to, but here is a map which may contain information about any support resources available at colleges to help support pregnant or parenting students. It's possible that your college and your girlfriend's college may not be on their, but that doesn't mean that they do not have any resources, so it is best to check with the colleges themselves if they have any resources. Please Log In to post.
