Maybe I'm living in the hype, but I really think Em's verse on No Love is my favorite from him... Its just so epic.

Toriko42

The best verse on that album is the 2nd verse on You're Never Over

I put that behind the verse on No Love...

I'm alive again
More alive than I have been in my whole entire life
I can see these people's ears perk up as I begin
To spaz with the pen, I'm a little bit sicker than most
****'s finna get thick again
They say the competition is stiff
But I get a hard dick from this **** now stick it in
I ain't never giving in again
Caution to the wind, complete freedom
Look at these rappers, how I treat them
So why the **** would I join them when I beat them
They call me a freak because
I like to spit on these **** fore I eat them
Man get these whack ****suckers off stage
Where the **** is Kanye when you need him?
Snatch the mic from him, **** I'mma let you finish in a minute
Yeah the rap is tight
But I'm ****ing with the greatest verse of all time
So you might want to go back to the lab tonight and um
Scribble out them rhymes you were going to spit
And start over from scratch and write new ones
But I'm afraid that it ain't gonna make no difference
When I rip this stage and tear it in half tonight
It's an adrenaline rush to feel the bass thump
From the place all the way to the parking lot, fellow
Set fire to the mic and ignite the crowd
You can see the sparks from hot metal
Cold-hearted from the day I Bogarted the game
I so started to rock fellow
When I'm not even in my harshest
You can still get roasted because Marsh is not mellow
Til I'm toppling from the top I'm not going to stop
I'm standing on my Monopoly board
That means I'm on top of my game and it don't stop
Til my hip don't hop anymore
When you so good that you can't say it
Because it ain't even cool for you to sound cocky anymore
People just get sick cause you spit
These fools can't drool or dribble a drop anymore
And you can never break my stride
You never slow the momentum at any moment I'm about to blow
You'll never take my pride
Killing the flow, slow venom and the opponent
Is getting no mercy, mark my words
Ain't letting up, relentless
I smell blood, I don't give a **** keep giving them hell
Where was you when I fell and needed help up?
You get no love

Its like ear sex.

Love that part:lol:

Haha, and the verses only get better in the 2nd and 3rd.

I'm back for revenge, I lost the battle, that ain't happening again
I'm at your throat like strep, I step strapped with a pen
Metaphors wrote on my hand, some are just stored in my mem-ory
Some are wrote on a napkin, do what I have to to win
Pulling out all stops, any who touch a mic prior (kh)
Is not even Austin Powers, how the **** are they Mike Myers
And tell that psycho to pass the torch to the whacko 'for
I take a **** in his jackolantern then smash it on his porch
Now get off my dick, dick's too short of a word for my dick
Get off my antidisestablishmentarianism you prick!
Don't call me the champ, call me the space shuttle destroyer
I just blew up the challenger, matter of fact, I need a lawyer
I just laced my gloves with enough plaster to make a cast
Beat his ass naked and pee'd in his corner like Verne Troyer
Ya'll are Eminem backwards, you're menime's (mini me's)
See he's in a-whole-nother weight **** his slugs your BB's
Your bean bag bullets, you're full of it, you were dissing his CD's
Laughed at Infinite, now he's back like someone pissed in his wheeties
No peace treaty's, he's turned into a beast
His new Slim Shady EP's got the attention of the mighty DRE
He's almost famous

[Hook]

[Verse 3]
Now there he goes, in Dre's studio, cupping his balls
Screaming the wood off the panelling, cussing the paint off the walls
Spewing his hate to these haters, showing no love for these broads
He ain't giving 'em **** he's scissor pinch a penny so hard
He'll leave a bruise on the bronze so dark
You can see the mark when it scars, til Abraham Lincoln is screaming out "AHHH!"
His metaphors and similies ain't similar to them not at all
If they don't like they can all get ****ed, instead of sucking him off
They can go get a belt or a neck tie, to hang themselves by
Like David Carradine, they can go **** themselves and just die
And eat **** while they at it, he's ****ing had it
lyrics courtesy of www.killerhiphop.com
He's mad at the whole world, so go to hell and build a snowman, girl
The bullies become bullied, the **** get pushed
and they better pull me, take me back to 9th grade to school me
Cause I ain't looking back only forward, this whole spot blowing
Who coulda known he'd grow to be a poet and not know it
And while I'm being poetic, let me get stoic
And raise the bar higher than my opinion of these women below it
So bare witness to some biblical ****
As the cold wind blowing, this world ain't gonna know what hit it, he did it, he made it, he's finally famous!

Dude I completely agree! I love the 2nd verse in You're Never Over!

For you, I wanna write the sickest ryhme of my life, so sick it will blow up the mic, itll put the dyna in mite

Even if it wasn't the best lyrically it should be the best for the heart he put into it. I think it's dope in both ways though. I was speechless first time I heard it.

10/10 Simply because being a mainstream rapper he is still able to make songs that bring out the true essence of rap, even when hes in the american mainstream market right now. Rappers like him, Lupe & Nas in the USA scene come to mind. It's not easy to find good rap on the radio these days.

Labels, are corporate companies and make a brand image based on the rapper, restrict their material and force them to release their selec 12-15 out of say 24 tracks, and the artists don't even keep publishing rights or anything. Not eminem ofcourse, hes huge, but big rappers in general.

8/10, when he's at his best there aren't many rappers who can touch him. But since he's put out piles of **** I can't give him a score higher than 8 and even 8 might be generous.

9/10. Quite possibly the greatest rapper of all time. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't usually listen to rap. His rhymes and wordplay are actually very intelligent and clever.

Not the greatest ever, just my personal favorite artist. He was one of the first artists I got into waaay back when I was younger, and I grew up listening to his work. His songs did help me through some **** in the past, and I do believe he's one of the great lyricists of our time, and a true poet.

I don't think any hip-hop fan can say straightfaced that MMLP or SSLP is as good as Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, Ready To Die, Enter the 36 Chambers, and the rest of the albums that normally get brought up when people mention the GOAT hip-hop albums.

you honestly believe MMLP is on the same level as illmatic, liquid swords, the chronic, follow the leader, paid in full, the low end theory, aquemini or reasonable doubt?

i do agree it's the closest thing he has to a classic record and you could definitely argue that it is but i disagree. songs like kim, amityville and the real slim shady keep it from being a true classic IMHO. but it's all subjective, so whatever...

I would say MMLP is in that mix. I'd put it top 10.

SSLP and MMLP are both classics.. I would go so far as to say The Eminem Show is a classic as well. Sure, I'm not a true hip hop fan, since most of the other rap I've heard I didn't care for. I know there's plenty of other talent, but Eminem is the only artist I really felt a connection to through his music. We have eerily similar backgrounds in terms of family and upbringing. Anyways though, those first three albums are all CDs I can still put on to this day and listen to from start to finish, and love every track.

you honestly believe MMLP is on the same level as illmatic, liquid swords, the chronic, follow the leader, paid in full, the low end theory, aquemini or reasonable doubt?

i do agree it's the closest thing he has to a classic record and you could definitely argue that it is but i disagree. songs like kim, amityville and the real slim shady keep it from being a true classic IMHO. but it's all subjective, so whatever...

LOL, I like those two songs. Songs like Drug Ballad and Who Knew make me dislike the album, and not give it classic status. And I never understood why people liked MMLP more, SSLP was closer to a classic in my opinion.

Great Emcee, can rap with the best of them. But his catalog doesn't have a GOAT album in it honestly.

Good point. I give him a 9/10. If he had that GOAT album he's an easy 10.
