What's with all of the "Rate This Band" threads lately? Anyway 5/5, I've been listening to them since I first got into metal and they remain one of my favorites. Seen them live twice.

Pretty awesome band, 4/5. I saw them live and the singer drank a lot of beer on stage...oh wait....FROM AN ANIMAL HORN. Freakin' awesome.

Amon Amarth is fun to listen to at times, but I prefer Amon Tobin.

They are an average melodic death metal band. Old school In Flames and At The Gates are where it's at.

Yep, he's a great guitarist. I also plan on learning some Alice in Chains songs soon too hopefully..I just love the uncomplicated awesomeness of some early metal/grunge bands :P. With a few power chords you can make some awesome riffs easily.

I think actually learning power chords on my guitar has made me more interested in listening to some of these bands..
