Welcome to the bay my friend. If you dont like it to bad, deal with it, nothing wrong with saying hella. theres plenty of words that dont make sense but are still popular and fun to use.

i didnt like the word "hella" either, but everyone around me had been using it a lot. and i just started using it and now it is a habit. so i just accepted the word and dont really mind it anymore.

oh thank you! Now I can start saying "really" and not "hella". Now I feel smarter :D The habit of hella went to my head and never said really in awhile.

It is those people that use "Like" after every other word. "Keep it Real", I hate that. "GuEsstimate" I mean seriously, an estimate is jut an educated guess, GOD!!!!.

1) Ghetto slang of any kind even when it's an attempt at humour. I lump "Dave Chapelle Rick James" speak into this category.
