How can you say they don't exist for sure? Just because there is no evidence to refute that doesn't mean that assumption is justified.

I think they are referring to the whole UFO and the governmnet covering them up conspiracies. In that case, they are definitely right.
[QUOTE="Jd1680a"]The distances between the next alien civilization could be at least 1,000 light years away, Aliens would have to have a very good reason to decide to leave their home world and expect to never come back. Heres another idea, why are these aliens always biological, why not robotic? What if aliens sent robots into space instead of themselves?BranKetraIt's because human beings consider intelligence to be built from carbon-based life.
You know...we do take "artificial intelligence" pretty seriously. There are a hell of a lot of sci-fi horror movies about robots gaining sentience, there are people putting serious time and money into making actual robots as smart and as autonomous as possible.
So Jd actually poses a really good question. When we conceive of aliens visiting us, why do we always think about BIOLOGICAL CREATURES visiting us, as opposed to just their robots?
I mean...think about it. We've done a lot of space exploration since the Apollo program ended. But nowadays we're sending ROBOTS to other planets, instead of people. Why? Because that's just a far better way of doing things. And if there ever does come a need to perform a task that absolutely requires the presence of real live humans....well, we certainly won't be sending humans until AFTER we've already sent lots of robots and exhausted the possibilities of what they can do.
And yes...the same thing should absolutely apply for any alien civilizations out there. If they have an interest in Earth, it's gonna certainly be a long term project. And the ships they send are almost certainly initially going to consist of nothing but robots.

Yeah thats true. Sorry, I only read page one, didn't feel like getting fully caught up. :?
There was a segment on the news a number of years back.. they found an algae, plant life on a meteorite. That itself proves life exists outside of our planet. After that news segment i never saw anything on it again.. it was strange cause something like that surely would be huge.. but no, i guess the censors jumped in and said nothing more can be said on the subject. The universe is infinite. If our planet can sustain life, then of course other planets out there can too.. since there are an infinite number of them.Rattlesnake_8
You know I'm going to have to ask you to provide a link to a reputable source.
Secondly, I'd like to see a source showing that there are indeed an infinite number of planets in the universe.
