Parallel Uni-Verses by Del the Funky Homosapien & Tame One

Definetely the best hip-hop album of 2009.

No hip-hop fan should miss this (especially the underground ones).

You can listen to the whole album for free here.

Interesting. I heard the album some time ago but I remember thinking to myself it was just washed up rappers uniting and adefinite pass. Maybe I'll give it a second look.

Del is a legend, man.

He has a great name!

Well lets see:

Nightrage-A New Disease Is Born

The Black Dahlia Murder-Nocturnal (Their drummer freaking blows me away)

Earshot-Two (This band is pretty special to me. No one else I know listens to them yet they have been a really imprtant band for me. Great, great singer here)

Sick of It All-Death To Tyrants (Such a great punk album)

And because someone else mentioned Alien Ant Farm:

Alien Ant Farm-ANThology (Such a great and freaking underrated album. Every song here is gold and it really surprises me this band never took off)

Very nice choices people and a big kudos to the person that mentioned Drop Nineteen. I've read lots of good things about them. This is my second recommendation. It's Murmur by R.E.M . I know most people know R.E.M but most people don't really know much about R.E.M before they moved to Warner Bros and became big. Murmur is a timeless masterpiece with an eerie yet blissful presence. If you like Automatic for the people you are going to go crazy after listening to this record. R.E.M's best and defining work.
