I'm not taking it seriously. Seems you are.:|"You fall through the cracks and there's nothing you can do about it," said the 52-year-old home health aide. "It makes me feel like garbage, like the American dream, my dream in my homeland is not being accomplished."

was it honestly being accomplished before Obamacare?
how do you even make $15,000 a year? thats like a part time minimum wage jobmingmao3046Working 9-5 @ minimum wage earns you that much.
Jesus was against Obamacare, obviously.[QUOTE="l4dak47"]Clearly, this is exactly what Jesus would want them to do.Aljosa23
 Jesus in in every one's heart, he's very flexible, he's whoever you want him to be.

I don't know...the Episcopal church is pretty lax on nearly anything. Homosexual marriages are honored, abortion isn't frowned upon, and even seen as necessary at times, etc.
I'm not Episcopalian, I'm just saying...there isn't much for them to impose on others, politically speaking.
that's just following the trend, it's not much, but it's progress I guess. If there's no trend to begin with, their ideology would naturally lead them to imposing ideas on others, it's the nature of religion.
Perhaps if we spent less money on corporate welfare and useless wars we could afford to take care of our poor people. Damn liberals.DaBrainzLess foreign aid....

In Mississippi, $8,200 a year is too much.

Holy mother of f*ck, I'm an 18 year old kid working minimum wage and I get more than this.
Not to mention I'd f*cking drown in expenses if my father wasn't helping me.
Seems like there's an association between %religious and %heartless, at least when we look at distinctions between US states.

No. Don't paint all religious as the same. But states do vary by cost of living. Not saying $8200 is wealthy in any state but there is a difference between Mississippi and say California, Texas, or New York that simple numbers don't tell.Yeah it's the same in UK, junkies and lazy ass people get everything available, people who work in a low end job struggling to get by can't get anything "Oh but you're working you can buy it yourself", "Ah you have a job so therefore you can't get this". Even the people working with these plans shake their heads at how the system works, too many dirty stinking junkies all walking around with more money in their pockets (or should I say in their veins) than a mother of two gets in a week. That's the problem. Those are the people I want my tax dollars going towards helping - the ones that actually work. It's the low end blue collar workers that get the short end of the stick. If you don't work at all, you get the benefit of all these social programs, but if you actually get off your ass and put some effort in, they punish you.

The US apparently has the highest health care spending per capita.
So either the system is not efficient, or medical costs became unrealistically expensive.

We have the highest health care spending per capita because our private sector system is uniquely inefficient.[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="Abbeten"] Why does every other first world government have the money but not us?AbbetenThey don't always. hardly even a "price" considering there's no real evidence this perceived long "Wait time" has hindered quality of treatment.
Afterall, the average life expectancy of every developed nation is significantly longer than the US, including some developing nations.

We have the highest health care spending per capita because our private sector system is uniquely inefficient.so it's not a "lack of money" issue then...

Canada has arguably the worst implementation of universal healthcare in the first world and the average wait time for non-critical procedures is about four weeks. But for some reason, people think that millions of people not having access to healthcare is a small price to pay for the people who DO have access to be able to get super quick service. Even though that doesn't really help anything.bailouts were nessasary derp and helped in the long run. Yeah all those GM workers almost had to sell their vacation houses up north. Glad we could save them.[QUOTE="DaBrainz"]Perhaps if we spent less money on corporate welfare and useless wars we could afford to take care of our poor people. Damn liberals.TopTierHustler
Except these state governments do have the money available to them, they are just choosing not to use it.It unfortunate that some people can't afford healthcare, but at the end of the day if the government doesn't have the moeny they don't have the money.
