[QUOTE="nocoolnamejim"][QUOTE="sonicare"]I may be hitting a new year's party with some coworkers tomorrow. Both a good and bad thing if you know what i mean.

Yep. I've got a couple of coworkers that I wouldn't mind hanging with outside of work, and others that I don't want to be within the same zipcode of if I can avoid it. Next door neighbour with some? Nah. Actually rarely see any of them these days. My company decided about two years back that they could save a buttload of money not giving us offices/cubicles at all and just having us work out of our homes. That way they save a bunch of phone, internet, office space, electricity, etc.
A lot of people complained about it, but for me it's perfect. I no longer have to pretend to be working when I'm not, can have my non-work computer up and doing whatever I want on that while monitoring my work laptop for anything urgent, and no longer have to pretend that I want to be social with some of the people that I didn't like.
Granted, I do miss some of the people I DO like, but, really, how many jobs out there can you play video games when you're not busy rather than trying to find ways to keep yourself occupied?
