Yes all are sad and pretty good movies.XxSTILL_BORNxX
You have some good taste there ;)
Well it was a big deal because it was basically his companion alone in a city of monsters for over 3 years... That being said it was a sad movie but no where near to what the book was.... sSubZerOo
ok i remembered a few more sad movies, oh and to the guy who didn't think pursuit of happyness was a tear jerker, it wasnt really, but the subway scene had me bawling like a baby, just because of the circumstances and how great an actor will smith and his son are.
him and sean penn are my two favorite actors.
but sad movies! id have to say
Radio- cuba gooding jr. pulls off one of imo favorite movies by him
and the end of Click (yes, click) was really depressing,
and the grand finale,
Cast Away. the movie is really good, not too sad, but the moment the screen goes black and it says 3 or 4 or however many years later, that was the saddest thing i had ever seen. my favorite movie of all times.
I am Sam and Life is Beautiful are such sad movies. I cried while watching Life is Beautiful.Kikoukenagreed x10000
This one movie where the kid was a midget, and I cried near the end where he was trying to save all these kids who were drowning on this school bus. He ended up dieing I believe :\, wish I could remember the name of the movie!!!-R3Vosimon birch
oh god simon birch was great. i thought it would be lame since it was on tbs, but it was really goodsly_fiz
That's such a sad movie. Or how about the one where there's a disabled kid who becomes friends with a big "bully" type kid and they become best friends and then...well just watch the movie. One of the most heartbreaking scenes I've ever seen :(.
certain parts of these movies
the color purple
moulin rouge
land before time [come on anyone who seen it knows why, 1st movie not the bazillion sequels]
atonement
schindlers list
braveheart
passion of the christ
I still think the saddest movie I've ver seen was Johnny Got His Gun.OPRFWrestler112
omg I read that book and it was insanely depressing.
Didnt know there was a movie, tho...guess that would explain the Metallica "One"video tho lol
[QUOTE="IamLegend316"]The ending of "The Mist". masters89
OMG, Yeah i was scream with the dad 'how awful' ... but it kinda disspointing they end it that way it could've been better.
I found that ending sort of refreshing. Things don't always end well, yet Hollywood would have you believe so...

I'm too ... I got board from hollywood endings but they just end it way way much from sad than it is dump! I mean a dad like him who really protectable to death for his son and yet at last kill him just because there were no fuel in the car?! I mean wtf.
Lion King..you know..that part...saddest part in a movie..ever.DarKre
for god's sake LISTEN TO THE MAN!

Nah, he didn't kill him because they ran out of gas. He killed the other people because being eaten alive would be a slow and very painful way to die. A gunshot to the head is quick, painless, and dignified. He thought he was doing them a favor when in fact had he waited 5 minutes they all would have lived.
Green Mile...or recently i thought I am Legend was pretty sad. The dog and the climax....cgi15
that dog was.....that was a very sad scene, and ill agree with you on green mile, that was such a great movie...
Wow, Hulu.com is awesome. I never heard of it before, thanks for mentioning it.I just watched a really depressing movie last week, Requiem For A Dream. I had heard it was depressing so I watched it on Hulu.com and my god, what a creepy, depressing movie it was!

Uh, hello? The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, Saving Private Ryan, Pursuit of Happyness (when he got offered the job I died), The Excorsism of Emily Rose after I found out it was real and the girl's grave is a pilgrimmage site, The Passion of the Christ...TheSystemLord1
The Notebook was sad, and The Diving Bell and The Butterfly, but in a good way. I saw I am Sam a long time ago, but don't remember that much about it, i'll have to check it out again. Also if you think dogs dying are bad, don't watch eight below.
Deer Hunter
The Life of David Gale
Schindler's List
The Pianist
Gladiator
Braveheart
Just a few out of the top of my head.
I really wanna see The Pursuit of Happiness.
Anyway, I dont know watch the movies that are sad through-out but I Am Legend is kind of sad :( Sam... Robert... :(

It's one of the most contradictive movies Ive ever seen; Will Smith's performance is the only thing worth watching.
'i'll let my child sleep on the floor of a bathroom, instead of him going with his mother, and living without complete poverty.'
Sentimental rubbish.
terminator 2 easily the sadeest film ever made, you couldnt possibly ever see it coming and thats why it gets you
and to whoever said the end of atonement - i think the end is the only point of that film i couldnt of cried, mainly out of shear relief that the dire lifelessness was finally over,2nd worst film ive ever seen at a cinema, it got lucky id seen kingdom of heaven
