I know i wouldn't donate all the charity but i would donate several million. I don't see myself needing all 100 million.

I'd take the $100 million. With that amount of money I would save hundreds, if not thousands of lives.uhoh_hotdogs

Well thinking about it you could easily rationalize it by saying that you could use that money to save lots of people's lives instead of just one. But a person is worth more than 100 million dollars and in the moment I don't think I could let them die.

Initially 100 million, but since you said they would become my new closest friend, I would save them. Hell, my best friend..If someone offered me 100 million to never see her again, I wouldn't take it. I'm a big softie for good friends, they are hard to come by.

Inherit the 100 million then donate 50 million to cancer research. That way its a win-win situation.

I think an american in prime working years is about 2million. children and elderly are worth less. at least according to the accountants. in 3rd world countries lives are worth much less which is why if you want the most bang for your donation buck it's better to help ppl in the 3rd world. 1k could feed a village for months rather than just 1 dude in the US.

That is kind of tough. I mean if the person was in some sort of trap from SAW, I would choose to save them (unless they're a murderer) because there aren't a whole lot of people that I think deserve that cruel punishment. I would like to take $100 million, but I would just continuously think about what it took to get it, having someone die. Of course he/she was dying already, but I guess just knowing I could have done something to save him would tear me apart.

Hmm....if it was a person right in front of my....my emotions would take over, and I would defiantly save them....all though, logically, far more people die every day, that one person means nothing in the grand scheme of things...but with $100 million, I could save far more people...

I wouldn't. I would honestly take the money, and basically say, "**** that guy" as I walked off smiling like an idiot thinking about all the crap I am going to purchase, and prudently making plans to invest so that I do not just piss away the money.

It depends. If I didn't know the person at all, I'd definitely take the money. If it was a family member or really close friend, I'd save their life.

Empty? No. Just honest. I am not going to say I would save the person when I know for a fact I wouldn't. People die, its the way the world works. I am going to look out for myself, first and foremost, to hell with the dying man.

Depends on the person. Or I'd save the person, and then go on writing books and making appearances on Oprah about how much of a good Samaritan I am and then proceed to get rich.

hmmm. while 100 million is a lot, if i saved the dying person, i could use that to get famous and get some money. i could probably get on oprah and all sorts of other shows, have magazine articles printed about me, hell i could probably write a book and even if it sucked, it would sell because i was 'that guy that saved a person instead of taking $100 million'

There's nothing "cool" about taking the money over saving someone's life. Being that shallow doesn't make you a badass. I would save the person and get another best friend. Some things money can't buy.

A single person dead to me for 100 mil would be rather meaningless, but for the person dying it's more meaningful than 100mil. I save the person.
