Will you put more U.S troops to fight insurgents? Will you let U.S troops to come home on Oct 1? Will you let U.S troops to stay unti year 2010 or more? Note: You could even make up your own idea to fix the problems in Iraq. What will you do brother?mohan88you already made a topic about this and we debated the point there. just post there
[QUOTE="Nisstyre_56"]Bring the troops homemohan88So who is gonna stop insurgents?Nobody, let them win!
[QUOTE="Nisstyre_56"]Bring the troops homemohan88So who is gonna stop insurgents?
Ummm.... THE IRAQI ARMY?Â
[QUOTE="Nisstyre_56"]So who is gonna stop insurgents?[QUOTE="mohan88"][QUOTE="Nisstyre_56"]Bring the troops homemohan88
Ummm.... THE IRAQI ARMY?
Let see how well they do.They were doing fine until Saddam got killedÂ
Split the country into 3, equip the Iraqi army which has 200k+ soldiers already. Though AK47's are their standard armament which is still the most rugged rifle out there.
Leave 15-30,000 troops in as a special tact squad that will stop really hairy situations.
Split the country into three, sense each group that hates one another orginate from different areas. It would help seperate the threat and at least give three countries that are united and not a massive civil war.
Create a cease fire around the governments,
Do not let the United States intermingle with the government as freely as it has been happening in Iraq.
Ask the UN for help, the US needs to be diplomatic here.. At this time we are retards when it has come to any kind of diplomacy.. CEASE AND STOP ALL TORTURE. Actually FOLLOW NATIONAL LAWS..Â
SPEND SMARTLY, DO NOT put liquid cash 8 billion inIraq then some how "accidentally" lose it.Â
As it stands people see that the United States is controling the government. If they do something we do not like we can easilly cut funding to them or reallocate troops..
Â
If we decided to go in we should go in all the way. We Americans had an insatiable bloodlust when we went to war, it's just a shame that bloodlust was turned towards Iraq instead of finishing off Al Qaeda.
Does anyone know what the goal of this war is now? Is it still to establish Democracy? The only thing i know is that pulling out would make us look even worse than before, and that might bring more attacks against us.Â
Maybe we should start a draft to give some of the soldiers that have been over there for so long a break. I don't know what the right course of action should be.
[QUOTE="Silchas"]Nah, just pull out.mohan88Then who is gonna stop insurgents?
Well I think this is a oversimplification.. Alot of these insurgents are clearly attacking the US and the Iraqi government because the US is still there.. If we pulled it, it could very possibly reduce insurgents vastly.. Not to mention like I said Iraq has a vast army now that dwarfs most nations militaries... The only thing we have to worry about is not insurgents, but the three groups, there killing one another.Â
Also there are more options then Staying and Going.. Both those ideas are pure retarded.. Honestly does Bush know any kind of strategy what so ever? The most indepth thing the man capable of doing is throwing MORE bodies at a problem that has been constantly getting worse.. It has been proven for years that this is indeed NOT working..
And completely pulling out is a dumb idea as well, not because some how terorrists will thinkthis is a victory.. Or we are fighting them over there so they don't come over here (which is retarded I might add, any one who thinks this has a intelligence of a 5 year old.. Yeah clearly the multimillion dollar Terrorist organization AQ that heavily train alot of their members are not capable of attacking two places at once!).. But it can destabalize the entire area.. And I believe the US owes a debt to Iraq, most of their infrastructure was destroyed.. Infact it has lead to many deaths.. I have said in other posts that 255,000 people have been killed due to a recent scientific research statistic indirectly/directly by the Iraqi War in Iraq.Â
People need to also stop comparing pulling out of Iraq like pulling out from Vietnam.. They are two different wars.. For one we knew who the enemies were in Vietnam, the Vietcong communist party. Iraq there is multiple reasons for this violence all over and nots always about toppling the government. Nor did the Vietnamiese on our side have the size of the army the Iraqi force has.. To compare such two completely different wars is a fallacy of oversimplifying the Iraqi war to some how fit in Vietnam.
I am pretty sure it requires a more INTELLIGENT solutions then "yeah lets put more people in there", or "lets get out"..
Â
BTW there will never be a draft, the republicans/Bush Adminstration would be committing political suicide.. The War is already unpopular to the point to give him a 20% approval ratting.. If he administered a draft for Iraq, Republican's would be garenteeing not winning a single seat in the primaries.
Just get out of there and let em kill each other. Eventually one side will win and things will stabalize.imsomebody
They need help stabalizing. Look at Palestine and Israel. They've been fighting echother for who knows how long. Originally everybody assumed the same thing about that situation.
II wouldn't have screwed up like this in the first place I'd have sent a FULL invasion force to get control hard and fast just like George Bush Senior did and what Bush Jr was told to do but ignored it. God I hate that man.darklord888Any war is a screw-up. Using war to fight war is exactly like fighting fire with fire.

i would pull out the troops and just let the ingrates kill themselves, the minute all the troops leave, all hell is going to be unleashed.mlbslugger86Not necessarily. Most of the fighters are just fighting America. If some country invaded Canada tonight, it would be hell. But I wouldn't be fighting for Conservative racists and Capitalists, I would be fighting for freedom for my country and to keep opressive forces from raping and killing my family.

I think we should appeal to the UN for a multinational peacekeeping force. Im tired of the only troops dying being US and some UK troops353535355353535Your ignorance never ceases to amaze me. Canadian forces are in there, too, and many more nations that got dragged in. Every week I have to look at the paper and see a report about another life lost to another American war for corporate greed.

Which is why we have to prevent people like Saddam from happening in the first place.Master_Greedo
Or we need to have proper justifications for war before invadeing a country that had no violated anything other than bush senior's honor. We as a people need to confinde together and figure out what is the best for our country not just what is the best for the priesdent as one. Â

in afghanistan not iraq, you started iraq and saying you want more people to die other than americans and british is just stupid.

I think we hear about Americans dying cuz Im pretty sure it is 98% of the occupation forces are American troops
If getting more troops from abroad wont work, we should commit more troops and steadily pull out.
Personally, I dont think the Bush administration is handeling this war too well
