to me it's just ridiculous how little by little, every innocent good natured show of affection is somehow being misconstrued as sexual advances or any other side implication. I better not get a call from school/daycare one day telling me about how my 5 & 2 yrs old girls got in trouble for playing with the same boy for more than 2 minutes.
Well I broke that rule at least 10 times today. Our school has 4,000 kids at it, hugging is everywhere, everyone hugs everyone. I do wonder what would happen if our school seriously tried this rule.....
UGH!! Schools these days are run by uptight woman who seem like they are PMSing through the whole month. The fact that they are allowed to ban anything makes me sick.
This is madness! if i lived there, id protest or something, maybe by a whole load of condoms and spred them all around the school grounds at night... that would be funny to watch
My middle school had that rule too... exept it was for 5 seconds. If you were caught hugging... an administrator would watch you and they would say, "TIMES UP... BREAK IT UP YOU TWO."

Now I know I'm born in the sticks, my school had 2500 and it was the second largest in the entire country.
It was an all-boys school so they didn't need to enforce that law. If two males got within a foot of each other it was only to fight.
If you are in a school that has a rule like this. Hug in the hallway for the whole day.
Wait for the administators to use force.
Have someone video tape the whole thing.
Then post it on YouTube.
It's OUR DUTY to break rules and laws that are unjust.

Yep. You should start a petition or something first, and threaten peaceful action. A few hundred teachers can't stand up against a lot more students. Just be peaceful and don't let it turn into violence.
