According to scientist, the triceratop never existed. Everything I know is a lie!

I find it funny that, instead of saying the torotops (or whatever its called) did not exist, they decide to say the tricerotops never existed.
"YEs, lets take a widely-accepted name, say it never existed, and then call it this weird name"
No worries, Torosaurus is just the mega form of Triceratops.According to scientist, the triceratop never existed. Everything I know is a lie!

Good call! Everything about this article screams that it's just reaching for views, not truth.I find it funny that, instead of saying the torotops (or whatever its called) did not exist, they decide to say the tricerotops never existed.

Check your facts, buddy!Boo! First the Veloceraptor was found out to be a Giant Bird ( which it's not, Birds Can't open doors) and now this! damn you scientists get busy reviving the dinosaurs instead of ruining many childhoods!

Damn! Then the Scientists were right! We're all doomed if birds have learned to open doors, I'll never go through the long grass again :(
Just lol'ed at this comment that was on that website: "They clearly have misinterpreted their findings. Torosaurus never existed, it is just a large Triceratops." :lol:yentlequible

I saw this yesterday. Did anyone actually READ the article? They got rid of torosaurus and now they will all be triceratops.
I guess I forgot this was the internet.
I thought it was the other way around.[QUOTE="XilePrincess"]The land before time is dead to me now. *cries*.Atmanix
Little Foot is crying somewhere right now. You take it back!
Well, according to scientists, littlefoot didn't exist either. double dead to me.[QUOTE="Atmanix"][QUOTE="XilePrincess"]The land before time is dead to me now. *cries*.XilePrincess

They should just change the name of the adult to triceratops; thus, triceratops DID exist. :evil:So all there saying is that this:
Is just a younger version of this:
That proves nothing? other than confirming that they have been calling an entire species of dinosaur something else..

Oh ffs. This is a bummer and I agree we should call it a Triceratops anyways instead of the other name.
"Scientists sure enjoy crushing my childhood memory of The Land Before Time (they nixed Brontosaurus a while back). Hopefully they won't delete Triceratops too."
Oh what the hell I didn't know that!!!
"Oh my. Just realized why her name was Sarah.... Tri-Sarah-Tops!!!"
FFFFFF. Again I never noticed that though I don't know why it makes me rage.

It was already known that triceratops skulls changed throughout their development, but not that the final result was a torosaurus. Torosaurus will now be abolished as a species and specimens reassigned to Triceratops

That still isn't as bad as the realization that instead being pure awesomeness represented in this picture
Velociraptor's were actually giant birds with teeth
Even if the Raptor wasn't just a giant bird, the design in Jurassic Park was a good deal different than the bone structure of an actual Velociraptor. That still isn't as bad as the realization that instead being pure awesomeness represented in this picture
