Guns should not be banned. Regulated perhaps, but not banned.

Well... places where guns are banned seem to have much much lower homicide rates... so I'm going to go with yes.

Obviously law enforcers would get them. Not all mind you, since there are many cases where the US police can't shoot for squat...

I don't understand this. Why not just abolish the entire police force then? You're claiming everyone to be worthy of dealing out justice with firearms so why not enroll everyone...

Nope. That would defeat my chances looking for a real, working panzerfaust that was used in World War II. It may be in museums, but that will never stop my search!

Banning guns would just be like banning drugs. More people will get them because of the "risk factor".

They shouldn't ban all guns, but they should sure ban a lot of them. The amount of gun violence in the US is ridiculous.

well since there is no border to stop gun from coming in, and no real inforcement on it, and since that is in the USA, doesnt really count

No. Criminals could still get them easily and regular citizens then couldn't defend themselves without breaking the law. Also, what about all the game hunters?

I'm not for banning guns, but I am for regulation and some restrictions.

It makes it easier to get them, an Eight year old has to have parents, where in in 1930 America you'd have to have some guy with a shotgun...

The only problem I can see is that the lower drinking age puts alcohol into the hand of less responsible people, which affect the chances of underage kids getting it. It's going a bit far though when you make reference to eight year olds though. Those are just incidents of pure stupidity.

That's true. I don't think it should be illegal(If I join a crime organization, I will want it to be illegal so I can earn money, but I'm not in a crime organization), but it makes it at least a LITTLE easier.

No, the anti-gun sheeples can take mine from my cold dead hands.

Firearms will be needed when the cops decide to quit their jobs like they did in New Orleans during the Hurricane Katrina aftermath. Cops won't likely be there to answer your distress calls for you during a serious riot as well.

Firearms are going to be needed when the Mexicans start a violent separatist movement in the South-Western states in the future too.

Certain guns like high powered rifles, automatic weapons or magnums. Those are unnecessarily powerful for either hunting, or home defence.

The US needs to ban guns but I get the impression that most American would rather have sex with their own mothers than give up there right to bare arms.

I hardly ever hear about guns bought and retained legally being used for crime at all.

All the money used for banning perfectly legit guns should be used to enforce laws to keep illegal firearms form entering the country.

You can't really hunt a bear with anything other than an extremely powerful firearm.

Woooaaaaah. Hadn't realized the right wing hate had gone this far yet. I mean i was sure that mexicans would be used as a scapegoat used to blame the crumbling economy on... I know that hate crimes against mexicans have gone up... But now this... I'm sure you didn't make that little number up yourself either, im sure theres millions of others just like you. Quite disguesting. Anyone else thinking Jews after WWI?

Am I the only pro-gun, pro-capitalist person that actually admits to being a libertine a$$hole, or is everyone going to pretend it's super moral? Marquis De Sade didn't say, "Oh, I stick communion hosts up prostitutes vaginas because I'm super moral".
