Nobody should hit anyone, but if a guy hits a girl without the girl already initiating the fight, that is BAD. Males are naturally stronger than women, which is an unfair advantage. Not only that, what would a girl think of me if I hit her? If I hit ON (flirt) her, well, thats alright then.
There shouldn't be any gender discrimination in when it's OK to hit someone.

This is not a self defense question though you are only legally allowed to use the minimum force for your safety. If you can get away...or subdue them that has to be done before you beat on them. And legally no one...no matter the gender is allowed to hit another.

Of course thats true, but when it is okay to hit someone (eg self defense), then a man hitting a woman is the same as a woman hitting a man. Thats why I quoted Llama, specifically for the phrase "when its okay to hit someone", which I took to mean in self defense. Hitting in general is obviously wrong.

Legally that is not necessarily true either. You have a duty to use only as much force as necessary....and if you can leave a situation you have to do so. Or you both get arrested.

"Men" who hit woman are punks! Only way I see it justifiable is if the woman is about to put a gun to your head or going to stab you up (put your life in danger). This is how I feel and will always feel. My mom taught me to treat woman with respect. No need in trying to change my mind because it wont happen.

well it depends if the tc was talking about abuse or just self defense.
well your technically not allowed to hit anyone lol but i would only hit a women in self defense. if she was beating my ass then i gotta defend myself.
Not acceptable to hit ANYONE, whether it be male or female, unless for self-defense, or some sort of controlled physical activity, such as martial arts tournament.
