[QUOTE="doom3lv"]I openly dislike islam and their culture. It has not place in the western world.
I think all religions inspire to see differences among men, but in my opinion, islam goes a bit too far. doom3lv
Agreed.
One person dared to speak and not strive to be politically correct. there is hope. That isn't really "politically incorrect". It's simply bigoted.

Or Racist.US an EU actually donated hundreds of millions of dollars when a disaster occurred in some Islamic country I'm unsure which country..whereas places like Saudi Arabia and so on donated a fraction of the amount...people fail to realize that people do not hate Muslims..as in..the followers of the Religion..people dislike the teachings/ideology of Islam..

Uhh not defending either side but thats a pretty ridiculous comparison.. So your going to compare an entire continent or the most powerful country of the world donated, to a small Islamic nation in direct values??

I think you judge by the wealth of the country...not the population.[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"][QUOTE="Xx_Hopeless_xX"]

I think you judge by the wealth of the country...not the population.Saudi Arabia is no where near as wealthy as either one.. Hence there would be no way possible they could ever match what either the European Union or US could donate direct value.. It should be proportioned based on their GDP..

The US is vastly in debt....which kind of erases the wealth.:| .......................... Do you have any idea how economy works.. Even in this "immense" debt.. They can put forward funds and produce more wealth then anything Saudi Arabia can amount to.. I am not defending Saudi Arabia here, I am certain that US and EU both give more funds in proportion based on their GDP.. I was pointing out that a DIRECT comparison what so ever in seeing who is more "giving" is flawed to the extreme..

I have an idea how money works....if you owe it...it's not really yours. And the US doesn't have spare money laying around to hand out. Yes well you said the US is wealthy and currently we are not doing so well. The first thing that should stop should be foreign aid.I don´t hate individuals, although I can definitely hate their opinions. I think Islam is violent, totalitarian, discriminatory bull****.
Having said that, several very good friends of mine are muslim and we get along very well.
Harkat95
.. Yet your friends with these violent totalitarian and descrimatory friends of yours? Either your a masochist or are they not that what so ever.. And if they arn't that, you just stereotyped them.. The point being is religion is a vehicle of political gain.. Theocracies and the like are hardly gods will regardless of which religion of it, but the will of a select few enforced by the supposed will of god.. Saudi Arabia and Iran are not much different from Christian led nations a few hundred years back, then they secularized and it still took centuries to do so.. Not all countries develope at the same rate, and numerous things can change it adversely.. The mere fact that Islam can cope within the United States into a secular mind set puts it at the exact same ground as Christianity and other religions able to cope with secular ideas..

He said "Islam", not "Muslims".:|Muslims follow Islam.. There is no set text because there are many different representations of it.. So either they are bad Muslims in not worshipping their religion correctly, or his stereotype completely wrong.
