Emotions ran high last week when an atheist group asked UTSA students to trade in their Bibles for pornographic magazines.

On Monday afternoon, the group set up a table on campus for their "Smut for Smut" trade offer. The group featured a sign at their table that read, "Trade in Holy Text 4 Porn."

Nearby, some students gathered in protest by reading their Bibles and praying.

Its pathetic because its a protest.Every Christian knows that praying to God doesn't guarantee divine intervention, God gave us free will to deal with our problems, its not up to him.So y'know, maybe the Christians should do something more assertive than praying to God like, y'know, actually confronting the porn traders? I had hoped that you would be able to understand the type of fear I was talking about...
-I was referring to how some people act out towards others b/c they fear what they do not understand...not the fight or flight type of fear

I never said it was for the benefit of the athiests either, its quite hard to convert athiests by reciting the bible.The point I'm making is that the Christians might as well have turned the other cheek by confiding in the bible, because it made no progress in the situation from what I can see.
