Do you think something will happen given that it's the 10th anniversary? There were talks about Osama planning stuff for the day.
In my opinion I don't think something will happen, but I've been hearing more about it lately.

I'm sure that there are alot of bad people in the world who would like to see something happen, but most likely nothing will happen.
I don't think anything will happen that day, but people will definitely be more cautious of their surroundings, especially those flying on planes that day.
no i dont think anything will happen, as for the osama's plan, he came up with the anniversary plan due to the shock value of the attack.
[QUOTE="FriendlyBenefit"]no need to fear i know captain planet, he will save us. CRS98Maybe from pollution, gang violence, wars between developing countries, and lies about the spread of AIDS, but I don't really think terrorism is up his department. You're absolutely right, i was just being a bit silly :P

[QUOTE="Firebird-5"]Uh..No they don't. The USA is Terrorists biggest target and the most at risk in the world next to Pakistan(But they are at risk just for being next to Afganistan and harbouring terrorists).he's dead. terrorists have bigger problems than the US

so, you buy into the whole 'AMERICA IS UNDER EXTREME THREAT' bs. do you have any idea how irrelevant your country is to AQAP/AQIM/AQI at the moment? they dont even have enough money to fund their own, more important, domestic activities. Scared of terrorists running around with WMDs? Don't be, Al Qaeda had about $2,000 set aside for WMD development, and mostly on primitive chemical devices.
Quite frankly, that kind of attitude belongs in the last decade. The spectre of international terrorism was always just that, a spectre.
whats the point, they already got more than they could ever imagine from attacking the towers. Gravy is good, but right now terrorists just have to sit back and watch USA fall
Nah, if there's one thing Bush did right it's keep this country safe. AFAIK, Obama hasn't done anything to mess with our homeland security too much.
Hopefully the only thing that will happen is the Cowboys beating the Jets.
Pirate700
Them fighting words, son.
I think it's going to be a great game. Cowboys offense vs. Jets defense.
Pirate700
It should definitely be good. I gotta' support the Jets because they're the only team I've seen IRL.

uh...Im British. So I'm assuming you have direct knowledge of Al Qaeda's affairs? No. They are always planning, most are unlikely and will never happen but there are always a couple of radicalized terrorists willing to give up there life for the sake of revenge. The US are still conducting combat operations in Afganistan and Pakistan, so Al Qaeda will continue to attack them. I never said Al Qaeda had chemical weapons or nuclear bombs, I just said they still should be recognised as a threat to the USA. IDK, Bush, pretty much made your country less safe. you guys have a false sense of security

It's fine if you want to live your life in fear of a few angry men in caves who care about problems more at home then they do overseas. Al Qaeda has never had and never will have the power western governments have hyped them up to have. International terrorists are the new communists. I don't have direct knowledge of Al Qaeda's affairs... but this is always an argument people use when they know they aren't on solid ground. bin Laden is dead. al-Rahman Atiyyat Allah, the newest 2IC is also dead. He's the one who brought a pragmatic streak to Al Qaeda's operations (which have been extremely limited... there isn't a global terrorist network out to steal your freedoms, rights, and ice cream), and Zawahiri is too busy running and hiding from US drones to be planning anything substantial.

-.- It seems you've missed my point entirely. I don't live my life in fear. The point is Al Qaeda will attack the US and other western countries. Its just their nature and you cannot change that. I never said Al Qaeda are a great big army with the power to invade and take over the USA or any other country but they DO POSE A VALID THREAT. That is my point, they are still active and they still pose a threat, it doesn't mean that a bombing is imminent but it could happen. Regardless of this, I don't live my life hiding from terrorists or bombs, this isn't WW3.Please Log In to post.
