So have you ever liked a girl who already has a boyfriend?

Yes, my ex wife. Notice, the EX part. I payed the price because she was the kind of chick who had no problem dating someone else before breaking off another relationship. I learned my leson, never be the "other" guy. It will bite you in the end.

Hexagon_777
Let me guess, she did with you what she did with the boyfriend who came before you, huh?

I wonder why anyone would be surprised to see past behavior repeat itself?

All I can say is karma is a b****. I payed my dues, but I'm a lot better off for it now. I just hope people think twice before jumping in between another relationship.

I never said they couldn't. What I said is that I don't understand why anyone would be surprised to see someone repeat their behavior. If you married a recovering addict, would you really be surprised to see them relapse?

Just had this conversation with the woman the other day. She tried to say she trusted me completely. I said no one ever trusts anyone 100%...proved her wrong through use of logic (to my own detriment I am sure)

I've liked a guy who already had a girlfriend.

I would always be "buddy buddy" with him though.

Yeah, I heard it through some friends that she threw a massive pitty party about the whole ordeal. I just found it poetic justice.

That seems to happen a lot to the people who cheat. I suppose karma does exist.

No way. I usually ask if they are seeing someone. If they say yes, it usually clicks off my off limits radar. Two kinds of people I don't even try to fool with: People with someone People who have children My ex tried to hook up with me after he told me he has a baby on the way.. I told him no way. No parent drama allowed... only exception is if the other parent is dead.

I did, and it turned out she'd taken quite a liking to me too as I was told. Though as I hear she's single now so maybe I should glide in there and whisk her away to meals with exquisite wines and beds of fine rose petals, just as my proud honourable grandfather would have done in his youth. What a damn fantastic gentleman he was :P

Almost every female that I've had any sort of romantic interest in has turned out to have a boyfriend or fiance. I've almost always been the "good guy," and not pursued a relationship with those women. My reasoning is that if they would be willing to cheat on or leave one guy to be with me, what's stopping them from doing it to me? However, I'm starting to get really sick of all the good ones being taken. I may have to rethink things. My new line of reasoning is that people get into relationships too easily, and the woman who is right for me might have fallen into one of those traps as well. It very well may take me coming along and sweeping her off her feet to show her what she should have been holding out for all along.

I always felt a little guilty about it. She was already on and off with the guy she dated, so it wasn't like I broke up the magic. After a few years, and getting married I put those things behind me. But, when it happened to me and ruined my life, I understood why you should never get involved in a situation like that. Its a bad way to start, and a bad way to end.

True. Some people casually date and then settle down when they find someone who they can spend their lives with. I guess there are people who just won't fully commit.

It's not exactly the same, but I think it's worth mentioning. There are stories of people who date for years, then can't stand each other once they move in with each other and marry. Later on, they decide to keep dating without moving in together. Your ex could be the same, never wanting to settle down.

Yeah, there are just some people who are never satisfied with anything, and put no value in commitment.

That's part of what I meant, but there's more to it. I'm also saying that people have different levels of commitment. Sometimes it's temporary. Other times, it can be things like sharing personal space, like the story I mentioned.

Don't worry about liking girls in a relationship, things always change

So would you guys recommend me keep flirting with her/being a close friend in case she DOES break up with that guy?

It seriously stings whenever you see them together. Just makes you want to kick his ass. So what say you, OT? Have you ever liked a girl who already has a boyfriend or likes someone else?

Im in love with a girl who is a Lesbian and in a Lesbian relationship.. Hopelessness rating 5/5.. :(

you should get her to have fun with a guy once in a while (with the girl as well), then your set (even if its temporary) ;)

...the story of my life. I immediately had a crush on her. And later on knew that she was in a relationship.
