So I enlisted in the United States Army today

Today I decided that I'll be in the U.S. Army for the next four years. I've done all the paperwork and everything. I leave to (dont knwo where yet) for Ranger Training for 1-2 weeks starting july 2nd, then Georga on July 11th for basic training for nine weeks, then to texas for training to be a medic on september 15th for 19 weeks, then back to georga for 3 more weeks for airborne training.

I'm going to be a Health Care Specialist for the United States Army Airborne Rangers.

I am so excited. I can't wait to finish senior year now.

Congrats, I'm a senior going into the Navy this year too.

I just need to take the Asvab and get the paperwork done, hopefully I'll be gone before the end of March, or April.

How are you doing Ranger training before you go through basic, and ranger training is a 9 week course separated into 3 different phases. Any way good luck.UrbanSpartan125

Yes we were, we were taking lives. My squad saw both U.S. military and British troops do terrible things. Not to mention what the Sunni Iraqi police are still doing to the Shi'ite neighborhoods. We should never have invaded. The right thing to do was to assassinate Hussein w/ the help of the U.N. We just dove in.

Whew...a medic. Good luck with that man, when your sent to Iraq you're going to be in for a rough time. But really though, I wish you the best. beedup91
