So...what IS the root of all evil???

I'm wondering how you all feel about "evil"in human beings(actually I think humans are the only animals capable of "evil" acts). I'm talking about the single most powerful force that pulls us into doing bad things. I think it's money, but these things can all be intertwined.

Well whoever said "evil" doesn't exist is more correct than anyone. It doesn't exist outside the limited perspective of the human mind, but I firmly believe the root of all "evil" we experience here on Earth is the unconscious mind that most of the human race is completely identified with. Christianity calls it the Sin Nature, but it's really just unconsciousness and unenlightenment.

I wouldn't say we all are...but I believe the majority of people are evil (and this gets magnified by money and power)
-but there are some genuinely good people that do great things with their money and power

In order for one to be evil they would have to have their mind set to evil things at all times (even changing that criterion to "most of the times" wouldnt give us many people since those "most times" should be more important to the "least of times"). Since this cant be true for mentally sane people, then evil, the way you use it, is an exaggeration.
