So...what IS the root of all evil???

Some people are sick, some people do have disorders...don't get me wrong
-but not every sociopath is 'sick'...they do not all have 'issues' or things that happened to them...IMO some people are just evil

Be that because I am right or because I am just an idealist (or we may understand different things when we "hear" the word "evil"), I just dont believe that any malicious behavior/thought/intent is just there. Something caused it imo. Unless the power of genetics is greater than I can imagine. *shrugs big time*

I think at the very min. most people would agree that genetics accounts for at least 50% of who you are (with environment making up the other 50%)
-though I actually think that genetics plays a bigger factor (60/40)

But even at 50%...that is a great deal of who are you already being'pre-determined'

I'd usually go "evil doesn't exist outside subjective perception" on this, but where's the fun in that. That's not really an answer, that's just refuting the premise of the question itself.

"Root of all evil". Just look at it, it's practically begging to be crapped all over by reductionist notions. Let's say humans are the root of all evil. Or the evolutionary mechanic. Or life. Or our universe springing into existance by quantum mechanics. Or God scripting quantum mechanics to spring our universe into existance. Bla bla bla.

Don't get me wrong, I think we should be able to choose what to do rather then be directed, but it's ultimately a consequence of one or more choices that can fall within the Evil therm.

Taking things from other people is what is evil. We can be 100% selfish, but still not take from others. Money is only evil when you take from others because of it, Power is not evil unless you take from others to get it. Nothing is evil besides taking things from other people.
