Ok so how was the universe created?

You might think I'm a snob but I have to help you. Look, before christianity there was Judasim and before it there was babylon and before babylon there were ancient civilizations which dates back to Noah's sons. Those civilizations also had scientists and people who created things which til this day are being used and if it weren't for them we wouldn't hear of such things. I highly recommned that you read history books because it's very interesting.

gamingqueen

It most certainly is very interesting. That's why I have two degrees studying it.;)

No you don't.

I sometimes feel that I'm the only one here who goes to school. Have a nice day.

>.> So those few years I've been in college are lies?

My opinion is infact, a fact. And we all know facts are correct. :)

Last time I checked no. If you're referring to my sig, his new sig is the creepy rabbit from Donnie Darko. I prefer his L sig. >_>

Sort of. They use similar logical methods, but they deal with vastly different areas of life. They do intersect very often, though.

I hate to gang bang on you here, since it seems everyone is arguing with you here, but wouldn't that mean that there were scientists before the christian era? As many others have said, they did have mathematics and algebra and all that fun stuff back then (and we're damn good at it too o.O)

I would comment on the breathtaking amount of arrogance exhumed in that post, but that would be rude.

Algebra as a distinct discipline didn't develop until the Islamic Golden age, though mathematicians did use algebraic systems to solve problems before that, most were done in geometric way.

I prefer Algebra; I'm bad with the shapes and 3 dimensional thinking of geometry. Algebra is almost fun for me.

Why? What do you do for a living?

I'm bored of always being right. I want someone educated and serious to talk to.

 'always being right'... heh... arrogance is a terrible thing, don't you think? And given how badly you screwed up the meaning of falsifiability, and demanded that the Big Bang explain abiogenesis, the claim that you're always right is far from justified.

well depends, I was prety bad at both, but geometry was still easyer beacose you could imagine the difrent object in your head and work with that, with algebra you just got numbers -.- and I really really hated the whole sin, cos and tg thing.I still don't know the relations betwen them...

oh one more religion question since here at GS are quite some people that know to explain it (lets say I want to broaden my horizon of knowleadge^^):

adam and eve, then comes Caine and Abel, which are then both gone, then comes what that we get to 6 billon people? I mean that was some freeking heavy incest going on if we take the bible thing literary.
