I swear to god, Charles Darwin must have founded Six Flags. First this dumbass goes to a resticted area that's by the ride whilst the ride is going, and then last year at the Six Flags in my state a girl got her legs cut off on the tower drop ride because she decided she didn't need to wear the safety equipment like it was intended. Seriously, some people . . .Jaks_Secret
This very article says it was because cables snapped. I don't think I'll ever be going on that ride at any rate.
That must've been really, really bloody. & traumatizing for whoever saw it.GUNpoint_
I'm traumatized just thinking about it...0_0
I'm sure his family would appreciate you all laughing at his death.swizz-the-gamer
his family are the one with the corrupted genes. To hell with what they think.

I'd be happy to shake their hand. The mere fact that they got a complete idiot to his 17th birthday is astounding in itself.
This is bad DC superhero luck, the superman drop ride cut off a young girls legs last summerHybridPhoenix
What next? A child drowns in Aquaman's Boring Guppy Aquarium?
[QUOTE="Forerunner-117"]"the teenager jumped the fences to retrieve a hat he lost while riding the Batman roller coaster"
Little did he know that that was not the only thing he would lose that day...
:P
Seriously, I can't picture in my mind how this happened.. I've never seen that ride though so that has something to do with it. :P

Play the video at 0:20. I bet that's where the teen got hit at.
Oh it was that kind of roller coaster! Thanks for the vid, I can visualize it now. ;)
1) He entered a resticted area.
2) He entered a restricted area while the ride was in motion.
3) He entered a restricted area while the ride was in motion towards his location.
4) He entered a restricted area while the ride was in motion towards his location for a damn hat.

Okay they're opening the ride tommorow. I don't know about anyone else but I would not want to ride something, knowing it decapitated someone the day before. COBHC_reaper
I would, and I'd hope that I saw the blood splatter.
That's terrible. I think that's a new ride too :? MoonFoxx...It lists that the photo of the ride was taken in 1997.
I know it's easy to see this as some obscure story over the net. But a lad has lost his life, I don't think anyone cares if you think it's his own fault. Ever heard of respect?swizz-the-gamer
No, this kid doesn't deserve any respect. Rodney Dangerfied did, not him.

dont forget the 2 6ft fences he had to scale and the multiple warning signs he ignored. If the family wins this lawsuit, i will lose faith in the US justive system :(

Never done something stupid in your life? we are both fortunate that our stupid things did not result in our deaths. He is not.[QUOTE="MoldOnHold"]1) He entered a resticted area.

Yep. As bad as I feel that someone died, it was still completely his own dumb fault.Decapitation - his head got chopped off. >_>[QUOTE="MedicMike66"]is he OK?MoldOnHold
Some people don't get sarcasm.
On a different note. I worked a motorcycle wreck one night and this guy's head was cleanly chopped off -- the head looked like it was smiling. I had a Reanimator flashback.

Sorry, I actually thought you didn't know what decapitation meant. Without a smiley or anything I had no idea of knowing that that was sarcasm.[QUOTE="MedicMike66"]is he OK?II_Seraphim_II
 now thats an epic post!
Never know, he had the brain of a cockroach. Might be able to survive without a head for a week.

Stupid things; breaking a window and bleeding badly, almost getting hit by a car because of an "i can avoid this" thought.
Extremely stupid things; scaling two, not one, two, six-foot walls to retrieve a hat that is within touching distance of a coaster track with a moving coaster on it.

What if I smashed a window and bled to death? Do I deserve to be laughed at on a forum?[QUOTE="Jaks_Secret"][QUOTE="swizz-the-gamer"]Never done something stupid in your life? we are both fortunate that our stupid things did not result in our deaths. He is not.swizz-the-gamer

What if I smashed a window and bled to death? Do I deserve to be laughed at on a forum?Depends. Did you headbutt a thick glass window? If so, yes... you're a moron. You'll be laughed at.
If you were thrown through a window against your will, maybe. Laughage will depend on WHY you were thrown through the window.
