This is what annoys me. The moderation/administration team must've saw him do something or he was reporting doing something that breaks the TOU. You're giving the guys that uphold the rules too much stick. They're here to do their jobs, which is to keep troublemakers out of the forums and the site, regardless if they break the littlest rule in the book. Just think, if moderators/administrators weren't here, these forums would be chucked into chaos and that would be bad for everyone. Diehardgames2

Wat i dont get is this, he has so many posts. Well I check out the mod forums sometimes cuz I used to want to be a mod. Well on the forum it was said by a mod (I believe it was either you Gabu or Aspero) that the older the member theytry not to ban them and give them a lot of warnings cuz they are a bigger part of gamespot, well in this case it seems like he was just let go with no thought. I mean look up there that one mod (sorry I suck with names :P ) says taht he feels taht he shouldnt have been banned, well if this is the case that means that soem body banned him without even consulting their group mates.

Now I dont see the mods doing this as they worked hard for there positions, so the only explanation I can come up with is that like Gabu said

But still I have never known the admins to be too strict....

But I also avoid the public forums like a disease :P

I think that in most bannings, the mods inform the admins that they would want to have a user banned. Since I've seen mods around nearly ten times more often than the admins, I don't think the admins understand specific members as much as the mods and take a ban request with a grain of salt.

On that subject, I feel that the tenure of the modded plays a major part in the severity of moderations.

NOTE: Not a knock against the mods or admins. Just speculation on my part.
